Hey b*tches!
We're going to NYC at the end of the month and will be staying on E. 50th in Midtown. Any local bar type favorites you can recommend?!?!
I know from past experience getting off the beaten path gets one more sane booze prices. Any info you can give would be great!
Oh! Does anyone know how long the cab ride is from LaGuardia to Midtown???
Thanks!!!!
Tim

Best Oysters in America and awesome bartenders and drinks. The orginal one is on 3rd ave. and 55th. You will love it and never want to leave: www.pjclarkes.com/third-avenue/Cab shouldn't be more than 30 minutes, but can be longer during rush hour. Enjoy!

I'll second P.J. Clarke's. Their mac and cheese is like eating an orgasm. Also, J.G. Melon is on 74th & 3rd. Great burgers and their cottage fries will make you soak your pants with creamy jizz, which probably shouldn't be used for dipping (too sticky). Better go with the catsup.

PJ Clarke's is a great recommendation.
Also, check out Hudson Malone on 53rd between 2nd and 3rd. Owner is actually a former PJ Clarke's bartender. Great drinks, great staff, a little more upscale pub food. It's my go to after work spot with co-workers.
Cab ride to LGA should be roughly 30 minutes, give or take a few, depending on time of day.

Cornerstone is a good dive on 2nd avenue on 51st street.
There are actually quite a few bars on 2nd avenue over there.
