He has his ring and $42 million coming. Its good to be him. No one will ever accuse Revis of mismanaging his career. Always squeezes every penny out of every contract, a model citizen off the field, and a model teammate in the locker room. He never gave a team a reason not to pay him. At every step hes played it perfectly. It will be awfully interesting if the Jets ask him to re-structure.

Maybe he's worried about giving up the big play if the WR beats the press and would rather the DBs keep the play in front of them. Pretty much what I concluded. i tend to agree. the db's just don't seem to playing up close to the wr's so they essentially give the qb an outlet if he's blitzed. now it's possible that the db's have to see if the wr is the outlet and then make a play for the ball but it's alomost like they're giving up the short gain. and in revis' defense, it's not like green is justin mccarreins out there. and neither is lafell. both of these guys are big targets. any corner would have trouble no matter how old. we'll see what happens.

Well you know, it dries up, then you have to take a pencil and dig it out, etc. It's no small task.

I read a Cimini piece yesterday where he quoted Bowles saying that Revis has the option to press or not because he is Revis.

Yeah, I don't know how to take that. Is it his wrist? An admission he's lost a step? I'm confused as hell right now.
