Todd "the big Dummy" Bowles says that Fitz gives them the best chance to win. Simple statement coming from Todd, the simple minded asshole. I've never seen people get so upset over "coachspeak" in press conferences. What would you like him to say? We don't necessarily trust in Hackenberg at this time? Or maybe he should say we don't trust our OL and don't want him to play behind them. If your going to continue preaching common sense in this forum please be prepared to be temporally banned.

It's a weak draft for o-lineman. Nobody deserves a 1st round grade. Sucks. All the QB"s have issues. I say cornerback and edge rusher in first two rounds.

Hack was shell shocked at PS. He needs to feel comfortable with the OL. He might suck....and suck a LOT but if you are really a Jets fan and are seriously tired of year after year of having the same conversation about wanting a chance to win every game because we have a good QB then you don't throw him to the wolves behind what may be the worst line in all of football right now. Everyone is pissed off and have a grand case of the "fuckits" right now so are being a little short sighted. The long term view is more practical...whether Bowles is here or not....whether Chan is here or not...this kid is not ready to play.....AND our Oline is a god damn mess....there is NOTHING to gain from throwing him in to let him get beat up. I felt the same way about Petty but the circumstances were a little different because while definitely not a sure thing he at least had another year in the system and had a little more experience. I.E. he was a lot closer to being ready AND he wasnt shell shocked in college in the first place. He still had a learning curve but had at least a shot at being successful before the online went to shyt. For all the people saying "fuckit" let him have some balls, put him in- I'm sure he has plenty of balls and would play if they let him. It's not his call, get off his balls. For those saying he can get valuable experience in this game- This is debatable, not all experience is good experience and if your only experience is handing off and running for your life there is nothing to be learned there. You are not reading defenses and beating them, you don't have a chance to get feel for the speed of the game because you dont have time to react the same way you would behind an even semi decent line. For the Petty people/Hack haters who say hey Petty took a beating, Hack should get fucked up too. - Put aside your personal "pettiness" having the only 2 QB's we have under contract in rehab in the off season is not a smart way of managing a team.

I 've been saying that all along, most people really don't know much about football. Additionally, even if he was real good look at Andrew Luck ultimately it takes a team.
