Love McCarron, always have. Super smart, accurate, good size and athleticism, quick release, reads defenses, a leader. Only issue is he doesn't have a gun but more than adequate to make all the throws and with his ability to see the field and throw accurately, he'll be hitting a lot of open guys. Chad Pennington with a slightly better arm and more athletic. Not a huge Glennon fan. Kind of gawky. _ And he would bring his wife Just so you know, there are homos here who think she's ugly. Trust story. _

Build for a future Qb. Fuck this has been bandaid shit. McCarron is 26. He wouldn't be a band aid. He'd potentially be your starter for a decade. _

McCarron sucks and always will, so why waste our time on him? We already have Petty and Hack. Like I said. Differing opinions. That you mention someone sucking and then Hackenberg as an option in the same response makes my point. _

That you mention someone sucking and then Hackenberg as an option in the same response makes my point. It actually proves how I think about all three of them.

We obviously need more than two quarterbacks in the room and going into training camp. I'd give him Sheldon and take McCarran and a 3rd? This way we have three young quarterbacks with upside and 3/3's

Or I can just say anybody can lick my big cock who wants Brian Hoyer or Josh McCown can we please stop with that fucking bullshit? Can we please get some young dudes in here and fight and actually compete to play?

It is a deep draft at many positions and we can acquire day one starters in the 3rd.

Not thrilled with either of them -- when was the last time a back-up who didn't have the chance to start in his first stop was successful in his second stop. Cassel, Flynn, Mallett all were expected to be the guy when they got a shot and all flopped. Osweiler is looking like another flop to add to the list. I am probably missing someone, but the last guy I remember to go from backup to solid starter somewhere else was Matt Hasselbeck in Seattle.
If we were going to take a flyer on one of these guys, then I would rather take a shot at the guy we don't have to give up a pick for, Glennon.

He's backing up a fairly established starter, it's not surprising he hasn't won the starting job. Was Garrapolo supposed to beat out Brady? Does that mean he doesn't have a chance of being an established starter if he goes elsewhere? _

Does that mean he doesn't have a chance of being an established starter if he goes elsewhere? _ You could have made the same argument about Cassel and Flynn. Both backed up established starters, looked good in glimpses, but when they got the chance to start, they failed. Maybe McCarron does buck the trend, but if you are asking me if I am willing to part with a day 2 pick for a guy with three NFL starts, who has one year left on his contract, I am not willing to do it.
