Saturday afternoon (the highlight for me) my daughter and I, with a couple of friends will take in the Bruins game. ewwwwwwwwww If you don't want to trek out to East Boston, Giacomo's in the North End is the quintessential Boston Italian restaurant. Wrong. Antico Forno is better. Get the gnocchi Whoa whoa whoa. Regina's is easily the best pizza in BOSTON. There are 1000 NY pizzas that are better. Yes. Regina, the one in North End ONLY is good. Santarpios is better much of the time. NY is better than all of them. Go to the Black Rose and drink some Jameson and Guiness and puke in someone's penis hat they all wear up there. Oh and their favorite restaraunt in that region is Dunkin Donuts. You'll see. If you see 24 hour Tom tell him I said to suck a dick

All those momgos eat up there is Dunkin Donuts and bad roast beef. There is one place on the Vinyaaaahd that time of year and it closes early and it sucks. Best you can do is get drunk, but you better start drinking early and stock up, because again, close early.

If you're looking for some other things to do, I've never met anyone who didn't love the Fenway tour, baseball fan or not. Concur on the North End for dinner. But Id walk around and pick my own restaurant. That's part of the fun. There are 90 of them in about 5 square blocks. Some good ones on Salem street.

I recommend Reginas before the Bruins game. Overall the pizza in Boston is insanely atrocious, but the original Reginas is the best pizza in the world imo. Weird. Whoa whoa whoa. Regina's is easily the best pizza in BOSTON. There are 1000 NY pizzas that are better. _ Debatable. Reginas got college years nostalgia for me so it wins.

Yeah and I have nostalgia for Varsity pizza in Syracuse. I'm not claiming it's the best in the world. It's not debatable. There is not an unbiased taster of pizza that would put Regina's ahead of 1000 NY pizzerias. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Jersey- all better than than Regina's. And I love Regina's. It's like Chicago folks claiming their deep dish souflee is better than NY style pizza. _

Stokesie is 100% right on this, and I like Regina too.
But it just doesn't compare. The rest of Baaaahston is pathetic when it comes to pizza in general.
Chicago casserole analogy on point

But for real. That gnocci from Antico Forno in North End.. Just go there. Not a gnocchi fan. Love the Giacomo Sauce. None of them better than Gino's Place but it's way the fuck out in East Boston and the wait could be 2 hours. _

And FYI Ches... Not all Regina is created equal... AT ALL. It MUST be the North End Regina if you go there
