Stokesie is 100% right on this, and I like Regina too. But it just doesn't compare. The rest of Baaaahston is pathetic when it comes to pizza in general. Chicago casserole analogy on point Why would anyone go to Boston and order pizza? That's like going to New York and ordering seafood. You don't go to Boston to order pizza but whilst you're there it doesn't hurt to try it. And there are some outstanding seafood restaurants in Ny. Why wouldn't you order it? We're not talking Lincoln Nebraska in either case here. _

I'll be honest... I was never all that impressed with the seafood in Boston either.
What are we talking Bushy? McCormick and Schmits? Overrated. And Overpriced.
Ches can get every bit as good in NC

Been there. It's a mall and feels like one. Food any good? I didn't actually eat there. I had a date and we met at Eataly for dinner. But it just wasn't a good date atmosphere. So we left and went somewhere else. The thing is, the ads for the place say that it has 7 (or however many) restaurants and so that what we expected--different restaurants. But actually it's a big food court just like the one in the mall. I'm sure the food is probably OK--certainly the shops had som nice high end stuff--but it's hard to imagine an actual self-respecting chef to work there. It's high-end fast food. Do note, I'm only talking about Eataly in Boston. I've heard the original in NY is great. It's much larger.

You go to Texas, you don't order the salmon. You go to Maine, you don't order the filet. smh

Debatable. Reginas got college years nostalgia for me so it wins. Yeah and I have nostalgia for Varsity pizza in Syracuse. I'm not claiming it's the best in the world. It's not debatable. There is not an unbiased taster of pizza that would put Regina's ahead of 1000 NY pizzerias. Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Jersey- all better than than Regina's. And I love Regina's. It's like Chicago folks claiming their deep dish souflee is better than NY style pizza. _ You argue too much, just let me have this one

Fish is also a local product. If not for the wild salmon, I would have no problem ordering trout in Texas. As for steak, it's all about the supplier and the aging. There are no 4 legged cows roaming around Manhattan. Yet, we have great steak houses.

If I'm visiting Fort Worth, you bet your dick im not ordering Alaskan king crab.

So, where would you order the king crab? Only in Alaska? The only difference is the quality of the crab that the restaurant is serving. The higher quality crab has a greater fill ratio. (The ratio of crab meat to shell). Probably more than you ever wanted to know about crabs...
