Her smiled dropped and I thought she was going to get me another and I was expecting to be charged, but she didn't come back with the drink. Was it something I said? Was she about 60 years old and morbidly obese? The chicks working on foreign airlines are hot. Here, we get decrepit skanks. Diversity

What changed since yesterday? Now all of a sudden the guy that reserved, bought his seat and checked in is the bad guy? Btw, United could have put those people on any other plane in any other airline flying to the same destination. Airlines have deals with every other carrier to allow crews to fly, be it in open seats or jump seats. My brother is a pilot for FedEx. He can get in any plane he wants to that has an open seat or a jump seat. _

The silence following that quip must have been delicious as you stared unblinking at the stressed out stewardess. - Her smile dropped and I thought she was going to get me another and I was expecting to be charged, but she didn't come back with the drink. Was it something I said? That's when you should have dropped the robe, common

I don't GAF if the guy was a recently released felon. He legally bought a ticket and was on the flight. Airlines should know which of their employees need to be where and when and work that out without impacting their customers.
Would you be ok at a restaurant if someone put the dinner you ordered down and then said, "wait a minute one of our employees wants to eat that and it is out last order", and then beat the crap out of you for disagreeing?
Flying is a huge hassle and is expensive. Most people are flying to get somewhere for a purpose; connecting flight, catch a cruise, took vacation time, business, interviews, whatever. You sold them a ticket and then after they get there 2 hours early, get groped by TSA, sit around, pay $5 for a bottle of water, etc and then they drag you off the flight because their employees are more important than the customer. FUCK THAT!
I think this douche was totally correct and hopefully this shines the light on the horrible business practices that are going on.

But the teeny type on your "agreement" says its OK! Hence the "shine the light" comment. No one reads the EULA I have to say, I've flown about 5-6 times since December and each time the flight was oversold and they were looking for people to give up their seats. Lucky for me, I always check in with a ton of time to spare because of all the unforseen variables that could fuck things up, so I dont think I was ever in danger of getting the boot. Here we had the perfect storm of uncaring, greedy corporate d*cks, emotionally disturbed asshole passenger...and poorly trained, unarmed security guards with a mandate to get it done or else. (they were not cops) I def. think this will change the whole system as far as over-booking.

United's "We're sorry" on tonight's flight. Two free drinks and a little box of mints. I asked for another for free and the lady goes "I'll have to charge you," to which I said "Good PR is worth two drinks. Better PR is worth four." I didn't get another free drink. Sapphire to boot?

Kinda like when we think regulation will hit Wall Street everytime they fuck up the world economy.

After the fact determination that he was a scumbag doesn't make it right. What if we found out after the fact he was actually a life saving heart surgeon? Then it would have been wrong? But not now because he was a scumbag? _

I'm a Plymouth drinker, but I don't expect much from airlines. porgyman She was a late 20's Italian chick. Very cute, great body and an Aquiline nose.
