I fly a lot for work, and every time a flight is oversold, they're usually bumping people BEFORE they get on the plane. Much easier than dragging people off a plane once they're seated. Id be pissed too if i missed a business meeting from getting bumped.

I'm a Plymouth drinker, but I don't expect much from airlines. porgyman She was a late 20's Italian chick. Very cute, great body and an Aquiline nose. But what about the belly button?

The silence following that quip must have been delicious as you stared unblinking at the stressed out stewardess. - Her smiled dropped and I thought she was going to get me another and I was expecting to be charged, but she didn't come back with the drink. Was it something I said? You're lucky she didn't come back with a taser.

imgur.com/gallery/P7cCWIf United was so fucking desperate to get its employees on that flight, they should have kept sweetening the pot until someone voluntarility decided to leave. Instead they drag off some doctor like a fucking criminal. The rights we waive just to travel is just fucking bs. Exactly. They probably only needed to come up a few hundred bucks... Now they will pay much more in $$ and damaged rep.As of this morning their total stock value dropped $270 Million.

What if no amount is enough..and they let the guy sit down? Now the Airline passes the baton...... who employs the unarmed guards who removed the guy? What is their training...and what is their protocols for a passive/actively resisting passenger? Were there any..and were they followed? Because the policy is clearly stated, the airline can (and seems to be) deflecting blame on to the poor schlepps who were called on the plane to deal with this babbling buffoon.

I think United should up that ante and just randomly choose somebody on each flight and kick the shit out of them.
Maybe let the other passengers vote on it. Come on... you know there is always some doosh on every flight that could use a good ol' fashion beat down.
Think of the entertainment value.

If they need the seat don't sell the ticket. It's just wrong. If it is imperative to get your flight crew somewhere that you didn't plan for then keep raising the offer until you get takers.

Gotta be one of the annoying little beeotches dragging a fockin steamer trunk onboard as "carry-on", then they can barely lift the thing to get it in the overhead bin..someone else has to do it for them just to unblock the aisle...then as soon as the plane lands..they unlock their seatbelt, make a loud phone call...then poise to be the first one in the aisle...then push their way to the front ahead of people sitting ahead of them who have waited patiently to get out. I'd love one minute of shit-kicking with one of those kipper-flapped wenches. Two minutes.

Btw, United said the flight was NOT overbooked.
Rather it was full but needed 4 seats for its 4 employees to get to the desitination city or another flight would have had to have been cancelled.
Whoa whoa whoa, no it wouldn't.
It was a cost measure.
Put them on a fucking NetJet flight and pay for it yourselves d-bags.
