Day 26...With the 26th pick in the 1969 NFL Draft, the NY Jets selected OT Dave Foley, Ohio State. Foley played 9 season in the NFL - 3 with the Jets and 6 with the Bills. He is all I got for day 26.

Day 25Day 25 is one of the two days left on the countdown without a draft pick. Neither the Jets nor the Titans have ever selected 25th in either the NFL or AFL Draft. We have, however, selected quite a few players who have worn #25 in college, including this DB from Pitt, the 14th overall pick in 2007.

And here is another DB, #25 from Maryland, Dexter McDougle, the 80th overall pick in 2014. Based on the TC reports, it actually sounds like he is having a pretty good camp. Thanks Idzik.

And another #25 -- the 18th overall pick in 2014. Thanks, Idzik.

Day 24With the 24th pick in the 1983 NFL Draft, the NY Jets selected Ken O'Brien, QB, Cal Davis. Kenny had a solid career as a Jet. No fault of his, but he will always be compared to the guy that the Jets could have taken but didn't.

To be fair to Joe Walton; if you have #85 you want KOB. He could put it a mile deep; on a dime.

I wonder if Walt Michaels would have loved a tough guy like Marino.

Day 23With the 23rd pick in the 1982 NFL Draft, the NY Jets selected Bob Crable, LB, Notre Dame Crable was recently elected to the College Football Hall of Fame. His Jets career was cut short after 6 seasons due to multiple knee injuries. He is the only Notre Dame Linebacker ever to be selected in the first round of the draft.
