Eh, give me more than two seasons to judge the guy. Still not 100% sold on him. 2 years as a pro. 3 years in college. The dude is the real deal. Not sure what you haven't seen yet. But yeah, we're better off without him. _ Just not sold yet. Nothing wrong with the truth.

i cannot for the life of me root against the Jets. especially against the fish. If they lose, they lose. great...we're better off. But I just can't. Its not about rooting for them to lose. Its about rooting for them to win a Super Bowl. I was 7 years old the last time. I know that I watched the game with my dad, but I can barely remember the game itself. This will be 49 long years, waiting for a return trip. I want to see them play for a championship at least one more time and this time I want to enjoy it with my son -- that is all that matters. They are not getting back there this year, so what is going to get them closer to that long overdue return trip. A meaningless win in a 4 or 5 win season, or another L in a 14 - 16 loss season. Give me the L and the 14+ losses to get me just little closer to a franchise QB that we have been searching for since the 70s. Perfectly said. Even though I'll jump out of my seat when a good play happens, I'm actively rooting for them too lose and lose badly. Force Woody jr to clean house and bring in some candidates with experience and what should be a job that attracts top candidates for once. I'd sign up for a Dorsey/ Haley combo immediately.

Honest question. You're happy we won a meaningless game in a lost season and we therefore don't have a guy who threw 26 TDs v 9 INTs last year? In his second year? For a shitty team? 6-4, super fast accurate athletic? Who easily transformed from a spread QB to a NFL drop back QB. Instead of Fitz? And now McCown? Oh and everyone crying about how Hack is only 22 so give him some time to develop? Maybe 2-3 more years? Mariota is 23. He's already developed and he's only going to get better. And better. You may not be sold on him yet but in 3 years when everyone is comparing him to Rogers, that extra meaningless win is going to feel even better and better as we watch Hack continue to shit the bed. Unless of course we get Darnold or Rosen. _

Sam's kind of sucking today vs. Cal. Just threw his 7th Int. of the season, 10 - 10 in the 2nd with 5:08 left.

Here's the dilemma we're in. Of the QB-hungry teams that might be marginally better or worse than us, nearly all are loaded with ammo in next year's draft. Take a look at this page and you'll see a pattern emerging. nfltraderumors.co/traded-nfl-draft-picks/San Fran, Cleveland, Buffalo San Fran, Cleveland, Buffalo They all loaded up on 2018 picks, that is not random. We have the least amount of flexibility thus the most amount of pressure to completely bottom out this year. Winning is not an option.

Ok.
Again.
Play hard. Give effort. Youngsters progress. Don't get embarrassed. Keep it close. Don't pantomime peeing on a pylon. Make some plays. Not too many.
Do not win this fucking game.
