Fucking sad and disgusting. What's truly sad and disgusting is the fervor of the NRA and some gun owners who continue to look the other way after these shootings. Automatic/semi-automatic rifles, assault weapons, and magazines capable of holding an absurd number of rounds belong with members of the military or police. IMO, they should be outlawed for the average citizen. The argument that they are for hunting rings hollow and false. I have no problem with people owning registered guns. Single shot rifles and pistols should do the trick if you are truly serious about using them for hunting and protection. I gave up arguing about this issue after New Town as nothing changed afterwards. Even though 27 little kids were murdered. |

Fully auto IS already illegal. Magazine sizes are limited. People modify things illegally to do illegal things. Laws only stop the people who abide by laws.
Horrific situation. It is a mental heath issue not a gun issue.
