Draft OL. Dont care if its a reach. Look at the Guard for Indy. Already a Pro Bowler as a rookie. Very hard to develop OL with the new CBA. Need guys who are ready to play day one. Time to invest. I agree the Jets need a OL more than another pass rusher resign Henry Anderson long term and draft a OT the Pat. had only 26 sacks this year and made the playoffs.

Agreed. I'd be fine if every single pick in this year's draft was o line, but i say that every year and it never happens. The rest can be bought in free agency.

We really need that second pick back. Weak QB class but all the QB-needy teams are bunched just a few picks after us. There should be a deal to be had.

If we could trade our first to move back and pick up a second I'd do it. Then grab 3 OL and a WR. Sign Enunwa, the Chargers FA WR, the Pitt RB, and call it a day. Mac can do whatever he wants after that. first two picks should be ol's...

Agreed. Is anyone really going to care if they take Jonah Williams or Greg Little or Jawaan Taylor or whomever at #3, a few picks "too early" for OL, if that guy turns out to be a stud? We all saw, yesterday in particular, our OL sucks. I know Josh Allen seems to be the hot name, and we do need an edge rusher - and Allen is more than just that, he's an every down player - but we also need OL badly... and a legit #1 WR. You're not going to find a stud LT or #1 WR in free agency. With our luck, Quinnen Williams is sitting there at 3, we fail to trade back, and take him as BPA An excellent player, a stud interior rusher, but a pick that would cause an uprising among the fans.

Maybe the best bet is hoping some QB-needy team falls in love with Dwayne Haskins and wants to trade up.
Its a long-shot that they would work together, and I'd file this under "never gonna happen" but the 1st and 2nd rounders, plus whatever else from the Giants to make the value work out, for the #3 might be a good deal for both teams if the Giants are concerned someone else might trade up... Giants get their QB prospect at #3, Jets draft an OT at a "more reasonable" #8 overall and recoup some picks. Although that leaves the Giants with no 2nd or 3rd round pick, so they've have to be in love with some prospect to take them and then sit until the fourth round.
Maybe make a phone call to the Jaguars who pick at #9... see if they want to jump over the Giants and get "their guy" at QB?
Im giving Macc too much credit to be able to pull something like this off.

I saw a stat last night that Nelson is the first rookie olinemen to make the pro bowl in 5 years. They have two rookies and a 2nd year guy on the oline. It can be done.
