The though of Rex having success in the same division as us....with the possibility of Sanchez. My god... You guys are nuts if you think this means now we just get 2 easy wins. With those guys on defense, he'll have them pushing for a playoff spot I'm sure. Well they weren't a pushover last year either so either way they are just another team on the schedule. The rivalry didnt grow any fiercer in my opinion. Rex cant make the Jills more relevant. I only care about who the JETS hire and how we perform once we work the draft and free agency. Whats the vision for the JETS? I've already done the rex thing for 6 years....move along, nothing to see here.

So, with Schwartz calling the D, what exactly is Rex going to do? He's only good at one thing, and that's calling plays on D. What'd they hire him for? Were they in dire need of needing to be unprepared to play? Constantly whiffing on challenges? Drafting defense only? Or, was it his offensive expertise?

If you think about it this was a smart move for the bills....what other leading candidate was dying to get that job?

LOLLLLLL!!!! Indeed, he gives US the best chance to win! You're lying to yourself if the Sanchez you saw in Philly was anything like the Sanchez we had....sometimes it takes awhile for a QB to mature. Mark just may have taken the next step Not sure about that. He was still turning the ball over in critical spots in a very pass oriented offense filled with talent. I wouldn't be shocked if they turn back to Foles next year.

Wait....I thought Rex haters said he was only a DC, and wouldn't get another Head Coaching job?

Wow, that's awful. NOt what I wanted to see happen. Really wanted to see him in the NFC, with a QB. Not in the division. I admit he won't be able to do anything with that team. He should have take a TV job for a year or two before getting back into coaching, this will just make his resume worse.
I wouldn't be surprised if this was his only offer on the table, but didn't Buffalo interview like a million other candidates? Does that mean they all turned down Buffalo or he was their first choice?

Rex wasn't going to Atlanta because Pioli and Dimitroff want McDaniel and will probably get him. I can see Gase going to the 49ers to help straighten out Kapernick, with Bowles going to the Bears. Just speculation on my part but I think it makes sense. If Roman goes with Rex I think you're looking at ground and pound and defense again. With Buffalo being a cold weather city with a lot of snow it might work. I'm Not looking forward to going against him twice a year but it is what it is.

Does this kind of shit only happen to the jets.... Not saying rex is going to turn the bills into world beaters but god damn first pete carrol going to the pats, then belidouche and now rex to the bills. Is this real life?

When will he guarantee the Bills Super Bowl win in the upcoming season? Will it be before or after the draft?

I am not sure if people were half joking, but the idea that Rex Ryan was only going to get a DC offer or TV was ridiculous. The Buffalo Bills are getting an up and coming head coach, a guy with his best coaching days ahead of him. He has faults, everyone does. But the Jets are either ahead of their time or do not display the patience to wait for the tree to bear fruit. Pete Carroll with the Jets, Bill B with Cleveland, Rex Ryan with the Jets...all of them had what it takes to win big in this league, and they will continue to show it. The Jets approach of Ready, Fire, Aim continues to destroy this franchise.
The idea that many people predicted Rex would not be a head coach again is crazy. Buffalo is locking him up now, even with several of their candidates still out there to be interviewed.
I like Rex a lot but will cheer loudly against him whenever he plays us. He got a raw deal here. The irony that he is a head coach again before the Jets have even replaced him is simply face-palm city!

Firing Rex Ryan because our GM sucked will turn out to be one of the dumbest moves this franchise has ever made....and we've made a lot of dumb fucking moves. How many guys travel thru this organization on their way to Super Bowls? Watching BB and Pete Carroll out here in the SB next month is going to be a fucking blast! Oh God, exactly. I can't take it.

This has nothing to do with Rex taking advantage of an opportunity, he would have had plenty of other gigs further down the line, this is about him sticking it to his former employers and his obsession with going up against the hoodie twice a year. So we now have to face a Rex Ryan Defense aswell as the cheat twice a year.....Great! Thing is with Rex, he's not clever enough to go somewhere where his limitations are already a strength, if he had a choice between Atlanta or going up against us and the Pats* twice a year he would absolutely choose the latter, and that's just what he has done. I would have wished him luck anywhere he landed except our division, he's fuckin dead to me now. There are no words!
