Not knowing if the top two guys are even on the Jets board I will put question marks next to them. I would take a trade down and roll the dice on Gregory. Vet defense will kick his ass if he doesn't stay in line. Need a edge rusher and he is the best in the draft. If those guys are off the board I want Devin Smith the speed WR from Ohio State. We have size at WR now we need speed to take the top off. 1 Randy Gregory OLB Nebraska 2 La'el Collins G/T LSU 3 Jaelen Strong WR Arizona State 4 Devin Smith WR Ohio State 5 Eli Harold OLB Virginia 6 Jake Fisher OT Oregon 7 Eric Kendricks ILB UCLA 8 Sammie Coates WR Auburn 9 Denzel Perryman LB Miami

Here is my take on what's going to happen for the Jets in the 2015 NFL Draft. I don't like Mariota for alot of reasons. When he told Jon Gruden on national TV that he doesn't like or want the spotlight that was huge to me. Not only will you be in the spotlight in NY but you will have Dick Cimini and his loser buddys focused on you with a microscope. It's not a spotlight in NY it's a burning sun. He needs to have time to develop and we don't have the team to give him that time. So for me he is a pass. If Cooper is there he is the pick. He could be the best WR we have drafted since Al Toon. Marshall might only have 2-3 solid years left. Take the kid from Bama if he is there. Here we go- 1 - TB: Jameis Winston, QB, Florida State 2 - TEN: Marcus Mariota, QB, Oregon 3 - JAX: Dante Fowler Jr., OLB, Florida 4 - OAK: Amari Cooper,WR , Bama 5 - WAS: Leonard Williams, DL USC TRADE ! The Jets trade the 6th pick to the Saints for #13 of the 1st round and #44 of the 2nd round. The Saints want to get in front of a few teams to select the best pass rusher available. 6 - Saints: Vic Beasley OLB Clemson. #13 - SHANE RAY OLB MIZZU : The toe injury doesn't scare the Jets who love the thought of pairing former teammates Ray and Sheldon Richardson #37- DEVIN SMITH WR OHIO ST. Speed WR with great ball skills. Attacks the football. #44 -Donovan Smith OT Penn State. Monster OT at 6'6 340. Great feet for a big man. Could be the future at left or right tackle. #70- DUKE JOHNSON RB MIAMI. Speed and hands . #104- GEROD HOLLIMAN FS LOUISVILLE . A ballhawk at safety and former teammate of Calvin Pryor. #223- CONNOR HALLIDAY QB WASH ST. Slim QB with a super strong arm. Little bit of a gun slinger. #224- DAVIS TULL OLB TENN. CHATTANOOGA . Small school sack master. Read more: newyorkjetshampur.com/thread/2506/jets-round-draft-trade-top#ixzz3YYLSB7Ja

When the draft is over I will relax a bit. Don't want to lose Big Mo.

It just strikes me kind of funny that they won't re up his deal. They keep saying it is on the back burner blah, blah blah. Could they be holding off on a new deal because he is more valuable with one year left on his rookie deal to a new team? Just throwing this out there. I would hate to see him traded to move up for a QB. He is a young stud who is only going to get better.

Would love to have him back. Good insurance if Snacks were to be out for any length of time.

His name has been overlooked with all the big names signing over the last few days but what about OLB Brian Orakpo? He has missed alot of time with a bad pec muscle but when he is healthy he is a 10+ sack a year player. I wouldn't mind throwing him a little money up front and a nice incentive rich prove it contract. Playing time plus on field incentives. Thoughts?

I would only keep him if he reworks his deal and puts alot of it on playing time incentives. His talent doesn't come around all the time and you won't find anyone better in the 4th round of the draft. So Keep is he reworks the deal, Cut and try to sign at a lower price if he won't.

Really didn't want to see him twice a year. The guard spot just got a lot more important for us.
