Why does a team have to start Mariota from day one if they draft him? If he needs time, can't start from day one he sits, plain and simple. They're no worse starting someone they have on the roster while MM is learning than they would be if they didn't draft a QB. Man, oh Man!! Wish you'd let that Sig photo go on a little longer!!

Revis, Cromartie, Skrine, Gilchrist and Pryor will be on the field together, barring injury, about 85% of the snaps this season. Skrine and Gilchrist will be interchangeable as the nickel CB and FS. With the amount of blitzing Bowles does Pryor could have a huge season blitzing off the edge. I'm so excited to see him play his natural position. Also excited b/c I invested a pretty penny to get his jersey last year lol. i remember being so excited by how quickly he made contact and how low he got when tackling early on...then he dropped that easy pic in game 1... crossing fingers. Yeah... I wore his jersey to the GB game. All the Packer fans were asking me "WHO?" I'd explain what a hard hitting Mothe******r he is. After the Jets blew the game, they were taking some shots at me about his play. Rightfully, so.
Hope this is redemption time for Calvin... especially after watching Revis throughout camp. Preparation is half the battle... Execution is the other half!

Smith evaded a question about Marcus Mariota being that addition and added that he was looking to Fitzpatrick as a teacher thanks to Fitzpatrick’s “better understanding” of the offense
That's it Geno, just keep pretending that you're the #1 QB and hope that Fitz and Marriota or Petty or Hundley or Glennon will be overlooked. Last chance this season, buddy. Put up or be shipped out.

If you did the same on the Defensive side of the ball, Wilkerson, Sheldon and Snacks would all be starting. Perhaps even Demario It's kind of hard to blame the CS entirely - I imagine they'd manage some plays and points with those players I'm too lazy to do this but it would be very interesting to take the Jets 11 starters on offense and compare them to the 11 guys who lined up for both the Cowboys and Bears tonight. Is there a single player on the Jets offense who would start if we simply created a starting group by picking players from the Jets, Bears, and Cowboys? Maybe Mangold? Honestly, take the Jets, Cowboys and Bears offenses....then create a "Pro Bowl" team of 11 starters. You could even create a 2nd team offense and I'm guessing only a handful of Jets would crack the lineup. RB1 - DeMarco Murray, Forte, then Ivory? WR1 - Bryant, Jeffrey, then Decker? WR2 - Marshall, Terrance Williams, Harvin? QB - Romo, Cutler, Matt Simms?

Just signed up.
Between this and JN I should get my fill of Jet depression. Thanks for setting this up Ragu. Any of the JI fantasy football guys in here.
Look forward to a league in this forum as well.
