+1 on the atheism. The last time Christians killed someone for heresy was supposedly around 1850 in Spain. I guess that was the last time a government sanctioned a killing for heresy. The problem with the "most Muslims are peaceful" idea is that there are 1.3 billion of them and if the estimate of 25% of them are radical or pro-radical then the nuts already outnumber the American population (to put things in perspective). ~325 Million. Most is a good estimate when you are looking at a manageable minority but when that minority is greater than the populations of most of the countries in the civilized world then we are really up against a huge problem. Only 20% of them are bad is like saying that your dog only crapped on a quarter of your pizza so the rest is still good. If other Muslims want peace with the rest of the world how about they step up and help by outing the crazies? I think 20-25% is really high, but what do i know. i think the problem with muslims who want peace are scared to death (literally) to speak out against the radicals.

When asked about dealing with coaching changes while at West Virginia, Smith told reporters. "It is all about what you make it," Smith said. "I think the toughest part about it is not being able to continue to play for the same coach the same guy that you learned to love, you invest so much in, and you believe [in] them. To reset and readjust is a tough thing to do, but we are professionals and we have to do it. A change could be good for us all, so if it happens, when it happens, then we will see." But the title of the article reads, "Jets QB Geno Smith: Coaching 'change could be good for us all'" How misleading. He was talking about when he went through a coaching change in college. fantasynews.cbssports.com/fantasyfootball/update/24912909/jets-qb-geno-smith-coaching-change-could-be-good-for-us-allWho cares about his coaching change in college. He said 'a change could be good for us'. That means now, and the future. Even worse, it sounds like he thinks that he has failed because of the coaching, not his own ineptitude, because coaches in college were able to adapt their offense to suit his limited skillset. Sounds like he hasn't realized that the NFL is a whole different ballgame, for big boys. I never like the guy or thought he was going to be the Jets franchise QB but the more I hear, the more I detest him. Hopefully he's on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad next year. i just think he was talking about how he felt back when it happened in college, even though he used the future tense.

my dad moved to the United States in 1979 and someone at his job introduced him to those cards where you pick football games.
so he started paying attention to football. the giants were bad in the late 70's and the first couple years of the 80's, and the jets had a couple decent years then with the sack exchange. so he became a jets fan. so by the time i was born i had no chance.
if only he would have waited a couple years to watch football then he would have been a giants fan, and i would have been saved of this heartache.

what the hell do you guys expect the players and coaches to say?
they should be trying to win. they don't care about next season. half of them won't be here next season.
