In PA the money is pretty good. I know some people under 30 making $45k to $50K per year with very little in student loans (4 year degree from state schools) and enjoying their summers off.. Pa. collects a ton of dough from people with second homes there who dont use the schools. Some of the School districts are flush with $$. As a PA taxpayer LOL. Maybe that applies in the poconos, but not the rest of the state.

Thats a great deal... we're still paying off my wifes masters loans and all the continuing ed certs shes needed... K-1, 2-6, regular ed, special ed, reading. You ain't lying about the competition for jobs... it took a number of years of subbing for my wife to land her full time job... in the northeast, the job market is flooded with teachers. And yes, the parents suck. Many of the issues she deals with are due to shitty parents. And inept administration. But she wouldn't trade it for the world. She goes in early, stays late, we go watch her kids pee wee football games in the fall, and school carnivals and she volunteers for just about every activity she can. Its not a field you enter because of money thats for sure. And you really have to love it to put up with the BS that comes with it. The amount of data that they ask you to provide on kids now is a joke. In PA the money is pretty good. Then go slumming because the people who would face a difficult hurdle in obtaining an ID to vote, do not vote because registering presents the same level of difficulty to them. In a word, the people do not exists except in the mind of the liberal elite. Thanks for calling me elite! Voter fraud isnt a problem except in the mind of the paranoid conservative. Fix gerrymandering first then I'm all in on IDs. I'm in on that too

I'd like to meet them. You know, these people that are voting now, but would be unable to vote if an ID would be required. You would have to go slummin'. They aren't at Starbucks. Which begs the question would you rather get a great BJ from a total dog or a bad one from a beauty? It's all about ME. So, if this happens to be the lady, you're OK with it?

That is Liberal Elitist Snobbery at its finest. or I dunno..."facts" based on "research". The Brennan Center for Justice at the New York University Law School estimates that in Texas alone, for example, the new photo ID requirements could prevent hundreds of thousands of eligible voters from casting a ballot — including a disproportionate number of African-American and Mexican-American citizens. I'd like to meet them. You know, these people that are voting now, but would be unable to vote if an ID would be required.

It shouldnt be that much of a hurdle. Does anyone here actually know anyone who doesnt have some form of ID, or is that a straw man set up to argue against voter ID laws? Even folks I know who dont drive all have non driver ID. Maybe the truly elderly in rural areas where records were kept poorly might not have ID, I dont know. But in the long term scheme of things, everyone should have ID at some point right? Careful using "I dont know anyone...." as a reason to allow a law. If we do we assume everyone is like us. Its a big country. Why voter ID laws are like a poll tax By CHARLES POSTE ..... In reality, cases of voter impersonation, the only type of fraud that a photo ID might prevent, are extraordinarily rare. And picture IDs do nothing to address the real problems with absentee ballots, trimming voting lists and other tactics that “count out” the opposition. What they do, however, is erect new barriers between minority and poor voters and the ballot box. That is Liberal Elitist Snobbery at its finest.

Which begs the question would you rather get a great BJ from a total dog or a bad one from a beauty? Good question. Your thoughts? Sexual attraction has everything to do with the "build up" to sexual gratification. On the other hand, everyone looks the same when your eyes are closed and too much teeth can be physically harmful. So, it is a tough choice. Gladly, I'll never have to make it.

We only let people drive who demonstrate an ability to do so. We only let people hunt who've passed a hunter safety class. You can't be a doctor just cause you want to -- you need a medical license. And --- drum roll please --- to Vote you have to "register to vote"! Aren't those the words that go in your blank above? Do we really want people who can not figure out how to _"register to vote"_ voting? The Answer is we do not, because they are required to register in order to vote! How is it so different to say that when you go to register to vote, you are issues a picture voter ID if you do not already have a drivers license? Honestly, I don't get the issue. How is figuring out how to register to voter any less of a hurdle than figuring out how to get a voter ID?Drivers, hunter, doctors? Really? Do we need people to demonstrate they can vote? You really cant KILL anyone by being bad voter. The minute you add ONE additional task needed to be able to vote you add a burden to some...but not to all. Unevening the playing field. And you open the door for future add ons that stop one man/one vote. Sir or Madam, please stand on the yellow line after submitting your registration form is truly a horrible burden.

In all honesty, regardless of race or ethnicity, do we really want people who can not figure out how to get an ID voting? I do. Our rights aren't based on out intellect and if we decide this, whats next? Do we really want people who can not figure out how to ______________________ voting? Slippery slope. We only let people drive who demonstrate an ability to do so. We only let people hunt who've passed a hunter safety class. You can't be a doctor just cause you want to -- you need a medical license. SAFETY
And they need find someone to groom to replace David Harris next season. Other than that, they can go BPA, which is where you want to be. That is how you build a team correctly. You can't force a draft to fill holes.
Oh, and did I mention SAFETY

I have some very good black friends. They all have ID. In all honesty, regardless of race or ethnicity, do we really want people who can not figure out how to get an ID voting? And from my own personal interactions, in all honesty, I'm thinking there are more white people without ID's than black people. --- anyone ever been to Appalachia -- even if they wanted to find the DMV, I don't think they have one.

Some of my best friends are black. And to be honest...not too bright. Pretty sure that is due to the former, and not the latter.
