Imagine what he could have done with our 12 draft picks last year The way I look at it, the only reason Mac is here is that Idzik whiffed so badly with those picks.

He's really done a nice job this far. Smith was a sneaky good selection and the kids from Louisville is a great story but he's also a tremendous football player in a position of need. Great part about it is that there are still value OL available. Hundley and Petty are sitting there too, 4 picks away.

1. DGB 2. Strong 3. Harold 4. Gregory 5. Fisher Cosigned on this. DGB or Strong would be a great haul but I couldn't say no to any of them. And we're guaranteed to get a shot at one of them

Not sure what to say if you're not excited about having this guy next to snacks, Mo and Sheldon. This D is going to be nasty. There will be a handful of offensive weapons available in day 2.

Absolutely had to make that pick. Don't trade Mo or Wilk. We're going to just bludgeon teams up front.

It's their pregame. They have to fill the predraft hours somehow. It's BS, but it makes sense from their prospective.

LOVE - Amari Cooper. Makes all the sense in the world to bring in Cooper. Good route runner, an ideal slot guy, can shadow one of the best WR in the game before he retires.
HATE- Mariota, I like the kid...I just want no part of him. They'd probably have to part with 2 1's plus more to get him and he's nowhere near a sure enough thing to feel good about a move like that. I am dreading a trade up scenario panning out.
Would Settle For...Ray/Beasley. Fowler will be gone more likely than not, but either of these 2 OLBs would be a nice addition. The D could surely use a guy who would be brought in solely to go get the QB. It would potentially bring our D into the category of elite. I'd be fine with that. Just please, no projects like Bud Dupree.

The latest Cimini mock draft (I know! Don't say it. It's just a data point) has the Jets on the clock at #6 with ALL of the following players available - Vic Beasley, Shane Ray, Dante Fowler, and Amari Cooper. It's almost redundant to say I disagree with Cimini, but WR is most definitely still a need for this team. They're one Marshall injury away from being in the same mess they've been in years. Definite bonerpants potential having Coop in the slot with B-Marsh, Decker, Kerley and Amaro. That said, Fowler, Ray or Beasley (in that order) would be a very nice get for the defense. I'd legitimately be happy with any of them. And if all 4 are on the board, trading back a few picks wouldn't be the worst thing in the world either.
