I can't believe the lack of maturity and leadership from Fitz in that press conference. He was whining like Trump up there, no one believed in him, boo hoo. He's only human and it hurt. That he was laughing in the huddle with the guys that he was back in the game. Just went on and on and on. Not unheard of stuff, but just low bar compared to the consummate team player rep he has. He's been awful this year and if he wanted more rope from mgmt he should have prepared even a little bit while he was extorting the org for his big payday. He makes about twenty times what Geno does now. Smith is done here and was playing to earn himself a shot anywhere next year and hurts his knee three series in and Fitz is whinging about his feelings? Grow up. Amen brotha. Futz is used to this tho - being sub par on sub par teams. Hardly ever having a winning record and never making the playoffs. He's a career loser. So want him out of town. He starts next week against the Browns and this organization is more pathetic than even I think. Fucking ungrateful miiicckkk. Absolutely agree with Jetrepulsion ... Fitz's career record shows him to be a nothing. This season, like so many, many past seasons, is sickening. What does Jets management think we're supposed to do, cheer them on to a 5 & ll or 6 & 10 record ... or whatever. It's October and football for Jets fans sucks. I wanted to see Geno, see what he could do at this point in his career. Screw that ivy league asshole.

winning this game is typical Jets uselessness. So they finish 7 & 9 or 6 & 10 ... a useless bunch. listen to these dopey fans cheering for this bunch of misfits.

In addition to what Stokes said... high probability someone gets killed behind our OL so we might need him to play again. Absolutely ... excellent point.

re Miami's win ... their QB has a torn meniscus, and will undergo immediate surgery ... but ... Pitts big D couldn't stop the Dolphins ... so we really have to wonder.
re Rex ... look at the QBs the Bills have beaten during their four game streak ... on par with Fitz ... well maybe not as bad, but nothing to rave about. Rex will be interesting against first division teams ... and in the AFC there aren't many. Big Rex question ... how did they lose to the Jets?

I used to stop watching football when they were out of it ... through the 1970s, and not until the Sack Exchange came along ... but after that era, not until Parcells. He actually got me back into the Giants with his 1990 team, because in 86 I was following the Jets and their 9 & 1 start. But to get back to your question ... what's doing for the rest of the season ... I'll follow Big Blue while they're in it, and Rex and maybe Miami.

Agreed. With a rookie or 2nd year coach you give the guy some slack with the understanding that he will begin to show improvement and eventually rectify weak points. This guy standing on the sidelines like an impassive block of wood doesn't show the slightest flicker of awareness of a problem, or hope that there is something to work with and build on there. The lights aren't even on, forget about someone being home/ what the hell did Woody or even Casserly see in this guy? Thanks guys ... so true. It's just that the season is over so early again. Carton wants to have both NY teams put on trial for killing football this season. Just so sick an tired of following this team. And Bowles ... bad coaching, and a defense that's not close to its pre-season hype. And those two wise-ass defensive linemen. Screw both of them.

Mostly true. Well, your assessment of 2014-2015 is spot on. Going into 2016 youre also right about how this regime kind of had to follow through with Fitz related things... And yes, id like to give Macc more time to sort through this mess, despite concerns about his talent evaluations. The Hackenberg pick puts him on thinner ice however... The problem is Bowles. I don't think I need a year 3 from him. I've seen enough. He didn't have command over the team last year - and struggled to adjust. It's getting worse. Last year a lot issues were painted over by poor competition and gaudy stats by Marshall-Decker... he's supposed to be a great DC and can't get anything out of our DLine and secondary? Fuck off Bowles not only showed us nothing, but not those two asshole defensive linemen are starting in with the wise-ass comments. I wish those two assholes the very worst! Agreed. And let us not forget the idiot GM. Vintage J E T S ... send this excuse for a professional football team to Memphis Tennessee ... and eliminate the name Jets from all recorded NFL sports history.

They need a QB ... forget about every other position. This last QB pick is a horror when it's compared to who they could have drafted. Look at the rookies playing this year ... look at the Denver guy. Could have had him. If you look at the histories of playoff and championship teams you'll see that they always had the QB in place. But the Jets' 2016 QB pick is typical J E T S. I'm sick of this team. Give Geno or one of the others a chance.

I think Fitz will have us at the least, 2-2. Too many variables with the D tho. Sheldon is a fucking asshole and Mo is gonna pull his actual hammy from being out all TC with his contract injury, because that's EXACTLY what is going on there. From everything I've been reading about training camp, fitz is terrible - no arm, accuracy issues, slow, missing receivers. This is not good. We may be 3-13 this year. Out of it by pre-season game 2. We will make history as the first team to be mathematically eliminated from playoff contention on August 25. Yes! 6 and 10 ... Geno ... at the beginning of last season I thought maybe he's the guy. During the season he looked from not very good to terrible. Then there was the deal with the fan and the missed meeting. But he had no one to throw to and we're talking New York media. But after his latest, the punch-out, I think the media just may be right in portraying him as an idiot. Hope I'm wrong though.
