I sent the trade to jcappy for approval but he did not message me back and seems to have left the forum thus I am going to go ahead and make the pick so as to not hold up the draft. (Both trade partners feel the trade is fair and the draft value points are close.)
The Miami Dolphins select: Derrick Henry - RB - Alabama
The Ravens are up.

I wouldn't mind the Coleman pick all that much, the others would make me destroy yet another xbox one controller.

Miami Gm here, if we get league approval for this deal I can make the pick as soon as I get the go ahead.
The Dolphins trade their 2nd round pick (42) and their 3rd round pick (73) to San diego for the 2nd round pick (35) and the 4th round pick (102)
The picks Miami are giving up are worth 705 points, the San Diego picks are worthy 636 points.

I'm not that high on getting a TE that early to be honest but wouldn't throw a fit.
I agree that Jenkins is a pretty good player but I am so sick of the set the edge, hold the fort olbs; that can't rush the passer that I can't endorse that pick. I'm willing to gamble on one of these less sure thing olbs that can rush the passer. I like the last three picks quite a bit and I agree about going QB in the 1st.

Glad to see you make your pick, beerfish . We were headed in a different direction for you had you missed it. I struggle to try to figure Floyd out. There are times over the last few years where I see a great natural pass rusher who could have a big impact at the next level, but there are other games where he has completely disappeared -- sometimes think it was more due to UGA's scheme than him as prospect. I see him as a boom or bust type pick. I hate the idea of him going to Buffalo--don't like to see my Dawgs in our division. Bad enough that David Andrews wound up in New England last year. Don't want to think about Floyd in Buffalo. I live in the mountain time zone so I am two hours earlier than most of the rest of the draft. I'll try and make sure I give a list of players towards the end of the day if my pick is in sight.

I kind of wish you would have informed me you were the gm of new orleans before pming me and asking me who i had been wanting to trade up for. No more pms and no more trade talk for me that is 100% for sure.

Tunsel and Wentz go one two. Both good picks imo.

A monocled Cougar picking for the Bengals? Seems legit!

Via Gil Brandt last week. Just caught this. Syracuse Representatives from 30 NFL teams -- including a special teams coach from the New York Jets -- were on hand for Syracuse's pro day on Wednesday. A total of seven players worked out indoors and on a very fast FieldTurf surface. Punter Riley Dixon -- 6-4 1/4, 220 -- was taken aside for a specific workout by the Jets' special teams representative while the other Syracuse players were working out. Utah Representatives from 18 NFL teams -- including special teams coaches from the New York Jets -- were present for Utah's pro day on Thursday. A total of 14 Utes players worked out indoors and on FieldTurf Punter Tom Hackett -- 5-10 3/4, 198 -- had an excellent workout. He punted the ball outdoors, and showed that he can directional punt and punt for distance. Hackett is very good and will play in the NFL Thanks for this, amazing the jets have settle for such crappy punters for years.

I want to draft Wentz in the worst possible way. Make it happen Mac. We would have to come up with one hell of a package, too bad Mangini is not the GM we are dealing with.

My gut is saying QB, if the one they want is not there then I say OT. Not saying this is what I want just who I think we take.

QB - any of them besides the top 3 Le'Raven Clark, Daron Lee, Reggie Ragland, Su'a Cravens in the first round, any DT in the first round That one is a good one that I thought about mentioning. Has all the looks of a good LT but his play and one on one work looked horrawful.
