We are going to traded with Tampa Bay, one of Fournette or MCaffery will be there at 6 and will will trade down to 19. Or at least my last mock says so. We will then take Njoku.

I'm not saying I disagree about the corner part, I'm just not sold that Howard is some ultra rare athlete. His best attribute is his height. He moves very well for that height, but there are better athletes than him in this class that are also tall.I also just think Howard will be mediocre. Everyone blames Alabama's coaching staff for not knowing how to use him. I don't buy that. I just don't like taking an offensive player at 6 that was as non existent at times as he was. That's not just because how a coaching staff used him. I really disagree with that part. Howard is the best athlete at TE to come out since Vernon Davis. He is 6'6", 250lbs and was among the best at the 40, bench, 3 cone, 20 yard and 60 yard. He has the quickness and agility to become a great route runner, Alabama just didn't develop him. The only thing that scares me about Howard is that some are questioning his desire. so why is he so much better of a prospect than Njoku? who can be gotten much later? Even Vernon Davis has had an up and down career. As for REddick, I would barf if he was the choice at 6. WAY too risky.

IMO Howard is being overrated and his impact on a team will be overrated. I don;t see a huge monumental gap between him and a few of the other TES I'd much rather trade down and take one of the other guys.

Sf is a huge wild card due to John Lynch, ex players often suck as GM's and they could make a huge surprise pick.
john fox is a bone head so if he has any real sway the bears won't take a QB as he is an I can get by kind of guy and has made some awful decisions re QBs in the past.
Tennessee is our biggest threat for our trade down wishes, they could easily trade down as well perhaps screwing us over.
If we do trade down my choice for the team we are going to deal with is Tampa Bay, not Cleveland.

Dude just what is your love for a suspect 2nd round talent in Humphrey being drafted so high? Cook and Tredavious White

With the 6th pick in the 2017 draft the New York Jets select, Rueben Foster, Linebacker, Alabama.

I love his skill set, I'm worried about his size. Obviously from a durability standpoint but also...could you imagine him trying to cover a big slot WR or TE? It would be too easy. Don't worry we have Darron Lee for that......

Bob Sanders? A small guy who plays big and is hurt all the time?

Ojo is camp fodder. He was very very good for the Eskimos his one full year here before wrecking his achilles. However I do not see NFL skills there. Hopefully he ends up back with the Eskimos as our secondary sucks.
The player the Jets should have gotten from the Eskimos is in Tampa Bay. Derel Walker - WR

I'm not a big Malik Hooker fan for the reasons that HN and Lith stated. That being said, I would not hate the pick because his skillset would fit very nicely with what the Jets have in the secondary. He would allow Pryor to play closer to the line (where he is a much more successful player). Pryor should have been the Jets Deion Buchanan, not frigging Daron Lee

I feel bad that there are some players off my list solely do to our head coach. Solomon Thomas is one of them. I have ZERO faith that Bowles would know what to do with him.

Agreed with the above comments, good player but there are other good tes in this draft we can snag.

Texans will not be trading up for a QB. They invested a ton in Oswieler last year and there are no Qbs worth a massive investment this year.
They also have perhaps the most overrated QB guru coach going who thinks every guy he gets is good and he proceeds to utterly fail with them all.
OBrien would have had his butt fired by now if not for having a top 3 in the league defense and playing in a week divisions. They will sit where they are and pick whatever Qb falls to them if any at all.
