This reminds me of that Oakland game years ago when they pretty much ran it the whole first half against our pathetic run defense.

I'm not saying they will, but it is a possibility. Obviously we have no idea what the 49ers want, but it will probably be a high pick. If no team budges for a 2015 first round pick, they might settle for a first in the 2016 draft instead. So then what are you trading to move up to get Mariota? Depending on when we are picking, we may not have to trade up.

Beckham is going to be amazing. He makes everything look so easy. Giants do an excellent job of developing WRs.

Considering that Herm was traded for a fourth, the 49ers are probably at least looking for a first. We could still potentially get both if we trade our 2016 pick(s) for Harbaugh. Why would San Fran want 2016 compensation? Jets will have a high draft priority in 2015, why ask for compensation that is unknown? I'm not saying they will, but it is a possibility. I'm interested in Lazor. He's a hard ass O oriented coach. Plus, hisname us futuristic. Same. He has studied under some impressive head coaches (Kelly, Holmgren and Reeves) and multiple years of experience as an OC.

That's a fair point, though I can see the following teams firing/letting go of their head coaches: Oakland (I doubt Sparano will become their next head coach) Giants Falcons Miami (if they have a collapse like last year) San Fran (if they miss the playoffs) Good point, but Oakland is the one place that is definitely less desirable than NYJ. I don't think coughlin is retiring and the Giants can't fire him. Rex is the favorite for the falcons job if Smith is fired. Miami is headed in the right direction -- even if they falter in the stretch run, Phlbin will get credit for the very good job he has done. I don't think SF fires Harbaugh for missing the playoffs. That is a very tough division and they have had a ton of injuries and suspensions. IMO the number of HC openings will be 3. Jets, Bears, Raiders. Yeah that's fair. It's really difficult to tell right now since there is still plenty of competitive football left in the season. During Week 15 of last season, Philbin was a potential coach of the year candidate. By Week 17, he was back on the hot seat. The opposite can be said for Rex last year too. The NFL is a brutal business.

@adamschefter: One NFL source convinced Raiders are the favorite to trade for HC Jim Harbaugh, but Jets also known to be keeping a close eye on situation. Wonder what the asking price is going to be? Won't be able to trade up for Mariota AND trade for Harbaugh. Considering that Herm was traded for a fourth, the 49ers are probably at least looking for a first. We could still potentially get both if we trade our 2016 pick(s) for Harbaugh.

Should be a good year to hire a HC since there will not likely be many vacancies. Other than Chicago I can not really think of a team likely to fire it's HC, and the jets job may be preferable to that tire fire in Chicago. That's a fair point, though I can see the following teams firing/letting go of their head coaches: Oakland (I doubt Sparano will become their next head coach) Giants Falcons Miami (if they have a collapse like last year) San Fran (if they miss the playoffs)

I'm still on the Hue Jackson bandwagon.

I can't remember the last time we blocked a field goal.

Vick has to make a better throw than that. Are you high? That was RIGHT THROUGH DECKER'S PISS-FILLED HANDS!! Yes. But Decker was wide open, he could have put more air under it.
