I don't mean this to be a funny or one of our usual threads where we all joke around and/or bust each others balls but does anyone have any personal knowledge of anyone with the Wuhan China Virus? How are they doing? Are symptoms severe or more mild? I'm not trying to infringe on anyone's privacy just trying to temper what I'm hearing on the news with the real world. Here in Central, Illinois, all restaurants/bars closed. Initial stocking up at the grocery stores but they are now restocked, except for paper products. People are lowering their outside profiles and as of last night, there were 5 confirmed cases in 2 Counties. About 25 tests waiting to come back, and thus far 15 tests are negative.

FWIW I hear the symptoms are wide ranging from mild flu-like symptoms to respiratory failure. We are learning more every day. There is information coming out of China but it seems like that is highly unreliable given the fact they are run by communist shitbags.
I dont know anybody, yet. Thankfully.

Best wishes to all and their loved ones. I read the China info as well, and yes...hard to trust it. I don't know anyone sick yet. My daughter is due to give birth mid-April. Her doctor is telling her her husband might nor be allowed to be with her which is crappy. Just hoping the doctor doesn't get sick and there are open beds when the time comes! Brother was supposed to get hip replacement...thats on hold. Sucks for him, he's in a ton of pain. He waited forever to get approval. But the good news is I turn 60 in a week....I'll be eligible for early morning grocery shopping!  |
