Well, that was fun. Although I never quite felt comfortable until after the 8th goal. What a game for Barzal. Needed those 2 points tonight. I needed a game like that and it's and it sure helped that Hickey left the line-up. Looks like we'll be seeing Johnston getting more playing time, especially when we play the Caps. I want to see him beat the living snot out of Wilson. Getting Dobson back was big. He wasn't at his best tonight but as he gets his legs back under him, he should be fine. Tonight, though was all about the top line. Still not thrilled with Leo up there with Eberle and Barzal, but if they generate 5 goals a night, I can learn to live with it. |

I don't think anyone is, but after doubting Cappy on a nightly basis I'll never question what Trotz is doing. We should try and meet up for a game next season when they open up the new arena....I know my brother that you met would be a go. Big L shakin islesmb @beaconjet. |

I don't think anyone is, but after doubting Cappy on a nightly basis I'll never question what Trotz is doing. Unless we make a move for a scorer, I am not sure what other options Trotz has. Makes sense to keep the Zeeker and Pageau lines together, Elevating Komarov does not really disrupt the chemistry of any other lines. As far as going to a game next season, I would love to. Maybe we can make it work on a weekend the Jets are home too and meet for another game, hopefully better than that one in Tampa. I might even have to try to convince Paradis to meet up with us too, just found out last week that he is an Isles fan too. |

I still talk to him over the boards from time to time....we have to get him to go. Something like a hampurcon but for an Isles and Jets game. It sucked we missed meeting up at the draft last year but this should be a go for people that have been corresponding for over a decade.....kinda like someone meeting their jailhouse penpal for the first time. |

It sucked we missed meeting up at the draft last year but this should be a go for people that have been corresponding for over a decade.....kinda like someone meeting their jailhouse penpal for the first time. Draft will be back in Vegas next year, so I would imagine it won't be too hard to get the group together then. Was probably best for me that we had to cancel last year. Some things exploded at work that week, and I probably would have had to etiher bail at the last minute, or spend a lot of my time working in my hotel room. Changed jobs since then and life is now a lot better. Travelling to a game or two should be easy. |

It's been 19 years since I was back in NY. I am willing to do both. Definitely in for an Isles/Jets weekend in NY. Now entering my 13th month of not going anywhere, I am ready to plan some travel. Isles / Jets in the fall and Vegas for the draft next year may both be doable. |

Best game of the season so far. If Vanacek wasn't standing on his head and the goalposts and crossbars were an inch larger this would have been major ass kicking.

I was scared they were going to blow it because it was scoreless so late in the game despite them dominating. If it wasn't for Vanacek this was another blowout win. |

I like the trade. 1st round pick is likely a late 1, and guys sometimes take such a long time to get to the NHL and we need to go for it now. I assume Palmieri will replace Leo on the first line. Nice to have a team that is in win now mode.
