Yep, and they need home ice bad. Their road record is abysmal. They have been in a funk the last two weeks. Managed to pull out a couple of Ws at home where they were outplayed, but it has been a couple weeks since they have played a solid game. Had that good 1-0 win over Washington. Last good game they played. |

As long as we can make the playoffs (which is not a sure thing given how tight the top 5 have become), Sorokin is the kind of goalie that can carry a team to a Cup run. I was skeptical at the start of the season, but he is as good as advertised. |

I was skeptical at the start of the season, but he is as good as advertised. I've never doubted him because I would watch some of his KHL games. There's not many goalies in the world that can move side to side like him. Hopefully he can get us one step further than Healy, or should I say two steps. Now we need the rest of the team to gel after this trade because I could barely follow the lines tonight. Nice to see Bailey take a seat. |

Regardless of the other winger Trotz needs to keep Bo and JGP on the same line. They just seem to click when they play together.

I wanted the Isles to be the best in the east, but it’s clear Washington is it. Will be some entertaining playoffs, but I don’t think the isles will be coming out of the east. Anything can happen though.

Anything can happen though. Based on how tough the East is, there are no easy playoff matchups. We are at the point in the season where I am okay getting a point -- just keep that 10 point cushion over 5 and get into the playoffs. 1 or 2 seed would be nice for an extra home game, but we are likely to play either Boston, Pitt or Washington. Tough matchups with teams that know how to win in the playoffs. Not gonna be easy -- I really think our best chance is if Sorokin or Varlamov carry the team through the playoffs. We just don't have the firepower these other teams have. But lets just get there first. |

Why does Dal Colle still get playing time? He's fucking awful at every aspect of the game...can't pass, can't shoot, slow as shit, never wins board battles, and has no hockey sense.
