What has happened to this team?
We have one line, cannot get out of our own end, can't kill penalties and play most of the games on our heels in the defensive zone. If Sorokin is not at his best, we can't win. Sorokin was not great last night, but at some point, he needs the other 18 guys to step up and help him out. 28 shots against per game in the regular season and nearly 40 in the playoffs. Skewed a little bit by the two OT games, but still, this is not Islander hockey. They need to bounce back in game 2.

Typical isles road game, TBH.
Game 1 on the road full house, tie game going in to the third. Their best payer won it for them.
Can’t really complain.
Shut down their top line, maybe barzal can actually do something, and they’ll have a chance.
