It was also nice to see Wilson and what looked like our offensive line there. Feeney might be a jag but him bashing the beer can on his head was awesome. Yup. How can you not love this guy. Looked like Fant and some other OLineman chugging a beer after the goal.....gotta love it. |

Have not forgotten that plan to try to meet for an Isles-Jets weekend this season. With all the home games the Jets have in November nad December, we should have some options. |

Wow. Sorokin was absolutely insane. Only reason we even had a chance in this one.
Lets wrap it up on Wed at the Coliseum and then it is on to Boston.

Wow. Sorokin was absolutely insane. Only reason we even had a chance in this one. Lets wrap it up on Wed at the Coliseum and then it is on to Boston. LGI I still love Varly but if he was in net we're down 5-1 early on. Sorokin has those Singletary eyes......gotta think if Trotz rode him this series would already be over. |

Well, I guess you can just turn it on for the playoffs.
Must have been amazing to have been in the old barn tonight. What an awesome second period. Sorokin struggled a bit early but bounced back and was again awesome over the last 35 minutes. But the Coli crowd may have been the MVP tonight, sounded like the place was rocking all night.

I don't think Sorokin struggled early, he faced a tough deflection and then one off of his own player. Coli great was great and I miss that. When they showed the old Capitals win back in 93 it made me realize how fucking old I am because I was at that game and that film looked like it was from the 70's. Pumped right now. LGI!!!!! |

This was the first game this series where i was really nervous; maybe its the tension of playing with a lead and knowing that we should win and close it out. But that 3rd period just took forever for the clock to run down. Nelson and Beau need to keep playing the way they have been, and Barzal just needs to finish, he was all over the ice tonight, did everything but score. Only negative was Brock hitting the post in the last minute and not getting the hat trick. LGI!!! |
