Isles are finally getting on a roll, and I knew they would get this one. Buffalo on the huge layoff and still missing a chunk of their players spelled out imminent victory. Wonder if we see Sorokin tomorrow. Maybe I was overreacting to the games with Washington earlier in the season, and just part of always expecting the worst out of my teams, because that is usually what happens. They really seem to have turned things around in the last week. I would be shocked if we don't see Sorokin tomorrow. Time for him to pick up his first W. They just started a stretch of four games in six days. Gotta think they go with Sorokin tomorrow night and hopefully he responds. He's been pretty bad so far but what I see is a guy that is lightning quick but he's just not seeing the puck. Sure seems like a lot of his goals against has him looking baffled as to where the puck is/was.

KHL rinks are wider and more pucks are played from side to side and come from different angles than in the NHL. May be part of the reason he is struggling to pick up the puck. He has not looked comfortable at all out there. He could use a big game, to boost his confidence. Either that or a trip to Bridgeport to get used to the North American game.

That makes a ton of sense and at the very least is what I am seeing in his game. I never put 2 and 2 together.

Sorokin!!!!! He's starting to settle in and is obviously capable of making incredible saves.

I guess he has adjusted to the NHL just fine. Some of those saves he came up with were incredible.
That was just the kind of game he needed.

I hope there’s a little payback tonight from last game.

I hope there’s a little payback tonight from last game. Guess they were complacent after beating Buffalo twice.

I think we won't be seeing Bellows in the lineup again anytime soon. Oof.

Games like this scare the shit out of me. Isles are completely dominating but can't find the back of the net.....now watch Pit get a gimme goal and we end up playing from behind.

After the last games lack luster effort, if they didnt score 2 or 3 in the first against Tristan fucking Jarry, you knew they would not win the game.

When was the last time we saw a period like that. 5 goals is a week worth of goals for this team sometimes. Now lets hope some of this carries over to the Pitt games this weekend. We may have the Bruins number so far this season, but the Pens have had ours. 2 points up on Pitt, we need to solidify that lead this weekend.
LGI!!!
