Big 2 points. Too bad they couldn’t get Varly the shutout. That douche Tim Peel watched our player get tripped right before the goal and didn't call it. Then again he didn't call a damn thing our way all game. Bastard.  Wahlstrom is on fire right now, let's keep it going! Agreed. The whole night, we didn't get a call. It was ridiculous. Especially after calling three straight penalties on us at the start of the 2nd. They made borderline calls against us, but let everything go against the Devils. But the penalty kill was strong, and Varly came up big when he had to, especially in the 2nd period. And I am really beginning to love Wahltsrom's play. The last two goals he scored, the one yesterday and the PP goal against Pitt on Sunday, are the kind of goals we have been missing the last few seasons. I hope he can be the sniper we have so badly needed for years. At 20 years old, he is only going to get better. |

Big win vs a Buffalo team that looks like they’ve given up. Their D was atrocious. I feel bad for Buffalo fans. We’ve been there.
Only complaint is allowing 2 goals on 19 shots.

I could watch this over and over again. Barzal goal really got them going. All alone in first place now. beginning of the clip it looks like the defensemen has a good angle on the play... just getting by him was impressive enough but then the fuckin circus goal? dayyum booy |

Everything aboutthat goal was beautiful. Fights off the defensemen, controls the puck and then the finish. Was not a hot dog move, it was necessary to beat the goalie. Just incredible. |
