It is my understanding that in the agreement there were conditions broken by the Taliban. So while the Trump Administration negotiated the terms, it’s open to speculation whether Trump would of continued the deal in light of the violations of the agreement. No one will ever know. Im only speculating but I think he would of called off the withdrawal of troops, aircraft and the contractors and maintainers who kept the Afghan Airforce flying. In retrospect, the Us should of went in in 2001,Kicked their ass and left, with the warning we’ll be back if terrorists are allowed to operate here ever again. |

Wasn’t it trump who decided we were going to leave Afghanistan? And before him it was Obama who had a 2014 date set, then it was 2016. Leaving Afghanistan is not the issue. There was never going to be a good exit and the Taliban was always going to take over eventually. The fact that the president we installed and the military we trained and supplied folded in under a week should be the main takeaway here. That and they now have equipment that will last them for a long time. All paid for with American blood and borrowed money from children that dont even exist yet. We need to stop lying to ourselves. These people dont want freedom. They dont want women's rights or LGBTQ month. They've been in a state of feudalism for thousands of years. The only thing they understand or even want to understand is the sword. They simple waited us out. Stop trying to nation build while our own is crumbling. Stop meddling the middle east. Let the Saudis worry about what is around them. They have the money. |

It was Obama who decided we would leave the shithole of the earth. Of course he failed to carry through with this campaign promise, like so many other things. Not that I care who fucks who in the ass over there, we never should have put our troops there in the first place. It's Vietnam without the jungle. Corrupt government and a citizenry that could give less than a fuck who their masters are as long as they don't have to sacrifice their lives and fortunes to remain a free nation. So we did that for them hoping that they might catch on that freedom is a good thing but you can't fix stupid and you can't fix an amoral citizenship.
When will we ever learn? And now we have that fucktard Biden and his entourage of senile simpletons destroying what's left of this Republic so ti's clearly doubtful that for the remainder of his time in office he will do anything remotely constrictive but with every decision he makes the citizens of the Republic wind up taking it up the ass.
