Just watched our Biden's update on Afghanistan, what an embarrassment and a liar. He had the all the questions in advance, and when one reporter tweaked the question he said "this was the question." This will not end well with fools like Biden, Harris, Blinken, Milley and the rest of the appeasers in charge. Oh Well, he's off to his bunker in Wilmington right after the press conference....I mean the lie-Fest.

I mean if you think the solution is to wax poetic of a reality that only exists in your imagination, then that's fine. People deal with shitty reality in many different ways. I just think inventing a hypothetical trump reaction to everything doesn't do anything except generate imaginative anger for the individual engaging in that. And it leaves us in a reality in which Biden for better or worse is the president, and we can either accept his decisions, criticize them as we may, or take action.
So, your opinion is that other people's opinions suck if they don't agree with yours. Yup, it's the internet.
Not sure how you got that from what I said. I stated that their approach to these issues and the way they which to discuss is means absolutely nothing since its just a bunch of hot-air and hypotheticals. I said nothing of whether or not I disagree, just that the conversation loses all meaning and reality once it goes down that path. |

They recorded the call where Trump told the Taliban guy he'd bomb his village. If he's full of shit I'm sure Biden would release the call. Once again, saying something then doing are different. Let's assume that he WOULD have done that. How does that help us now or continue any meaningful conversation? "If if's and buts were candy and nuts....." Believe it or not, I'm out here looking out for your mental health. Getting upset and worked up about "what trump would do," and entering into this whole mental universe that doesn't exist, to me, is just a waste of mental energy, and it disconnects the mind from reality. |

And you dont have to bomb their village but you have to make them believe you are crazy enough to do it. Again, there are precedents for this. You have the Soleimani guy versus the guy who didnt want the OBL raid, and was part of Benghazi and Bergdahl. The Taliban knows this. If I wanted to receive great reviews from the UN, or the EU I would send Obama to the circle jerk. If I wanted to make some warlord shit his pants I would send Trump. I understand your point. To me though, debating hypotheticals and getting upset about them doesn't help yourself nor does it discuss reality, which is why I don't like arguing hypotheticals. The candidate I wanted to win presidency did not win, but it doesn't even cross my mind to start thinking and emotionally investing myself in "what they would do." He's not president, so I find no point in lamenting the fact in my thoughts and discussions. |

I posted it three posts before you did LOL. 😁 It IS a hypothetical even if he said he would do it lol its like if I said "if ii become mod on the Hampur, Ill send everyone $1000!" I don't think you understand the meaning of the word hypothetical. Do you think the Trump administration had a fluid handshake verbal agreement in place to leave Afghanistan? Or did they have a detailed plan on how we would exit that country? Because the links above show the latter, which would throw hypotheticals out the window that you keep insisting on. We're at a point right now where a 10 year old would have pulled off better exit of Afghanistan. We might be looking at the greatest hostage situation in the history of this country and Biden said he wouldn't do anything different. |
