They also have former DOD members, Homeland security, Presidential advisors over many administrations, retired four star generals, sitting senate and house members and even some Hoover Institute fellows. Retired Colonel on FOX last evening indicating the US military senior leadership is completely in bed with the corrupt politicians to get promoted to 4 Star rank. He also indicated the US should have armor on the ground at the Kabul airport if push comes to shove. I believe you can fit a Bradley APC into a C-17 so I hope they have a dozen or so on the ground for a worst case scenario. When leaving, pack them up, don't leave them.

Agreed, huge dissapointment. I was completely for going there, and I agree you have to leave at one point but if I'm in the miltary now, or the father of a fallen soldier looking at this country going back exactly to where it was, I'd be pissed. It was always going to be in vain. Which is why we these wars were bad in the first place. We jumped in feet first with no real clear cut objectives, followed buy mission creep and nation building. We must learn to accept that voids are never filled by democracy. If you look at human history what we have in the West is the anomaly. It is the exception. And creating more voids only serves to harm us. Its American naivete: we got fed up ~250 years ago, got pissed off, revolted and won. Then we start thinking everyone else is like us; THEY ARE NOT. Most people are lazy dooshcanoes who want someone else to fight their battles. They can't be bothered. FUCK THEM. |

CNN just showed this. They slipped up and reported news. Bidens press conference earlier today he didn't talk about Afghanistan once, just Covid. No questions. I watched CNN and MSNBC right after and neither mentioned how he ignored Afghanistan. Even better both had "medical experts" ready to talk about Bidens Covid presser. So the White House tipped them off and they just ignored it. notice how gently and softly and with such reverence ole Georgie boy asks Bidumb a question... |
