This has been an issue for a long time. I added a whole-house gas generator to my home for this very reason. I also have daily MREs and 2k calls daily for both Wifne and I for one year. I have a garage freezer that is packed with meat/veggies and seafood. I have 80 lbs. of pasta and 40 lbs. of brown rice on hand. We can eat for at least a year with no provisions. I have a water filter that can make potable water from almost any source. I can make 4 gallons in less than an hour. I also have 4500 rounds in the house. You better be prepared if you come at us. Wifne knows how to handle a weapon. Just is not a fan of it. I rotate stuff that is getting close to expiry. You have to prep when you do not need to prep. Otherwise, you get caught empty-handed. I am loading up on canned foods, meats, etc. I will have 2-3 cases of bottled water. Gallon jugs of water. I believe we need a supply of food that does NOT need to be cooked or refrigerated. Plus the rest of what I bought and continue to buy. MREs may not be great but you can survive on them for sure. |

Stock up on sprouting seeds. They’re cheap, store well, and simple to grow. Very nutritious as well. You just soak them for a few hours, rinse them daily, and in 5-7 days you’ve got greens to accompany whatever else you have put up.

Also looking at once of the large solar "generator" panels. Not going to power everything but better than nothing. In a perfect world I would have something like a Tesla wall but that is expensive. Solar Generator |
