Good news that it is a mild strain -- hopefully he does not miss too much time, although Hamstring injuries tend to linger.

Citi Field sounded electric the other night with Harvey on the mound, solid win last night as well with the sweep. Really liking this team right now

Bartolos been killing the ball, 2 RBI, 3-0. He goes yard at least once this season, mark it down. Primed to sweep the fish with our two aces up at home after sweeping the Phillies...loving it.

Another win for the Mets -- had to sweat this one out a bit in the 9th. d"Arnaud is looking like a different player this year. Nice to have a catcher who can actually throw guys out, he looks way better this season both at the plate and behind it.

Costly win today. Sounds like both d"Arnaud and Blevins out with fractured arms.

Costly win today. Sounds like both d"Arnaud and Blevins out with fractured arms. Yeah at least six weeks on both of them most likely...no bueno. Depth in the minors is supposed to be good but still a shitty blow during such a great start.

Sounds like we wil be calling up Kevin Plawecki from Vegas for d'Arnaud -- shame cause he had been playing so well in the opening weeks of the season. I would assume they will look to make a move for an experienced lefty out of the pen.

Plaw had a huge MLB debut too last night. Bullpen is clearly the weak point right now with Blevins out - two games in a row where we nearly blew a big lead. Still, the Torres' are killing it, Wright due back soon, Gee pulling his weight so far in the rotation, all good things. Best record and biggest lead in baseball.

You going to get to any of the games at Wrigley next week? I was hoping to catch 2 of them, but have to travel next week, so only one I can get to is Thursday afternoon.

Definitely going to at least one but which is still up in the air - likely one of the night games. Leaning towards Wednesday right now because Harvey is the probable start but weather could change that. Might try to sneak in the Thursday one as well if I can get off work early enough.

Would have definitely gone to the Harvey game if I was in town, but work got in the way. I just have to hope he pitches when they are in Milwaukee in June.

I was all set to rant about the stupidity of batting the pitcher in the 8 spot last night. Then DeGrom gets 3 hits, Flores with the Slam from the 9 spot and we win 14-1. Mets (and their fans) really needed one like last night. Time to get back on track -- looking forward to watching Noah on the hill today.
