Can't wait. If only I can stay awake for the entire game... I hate these west coast trips with the 9:30 starts but pretty soon I'll be in the mountain time zone, which makes watching these games much easier. I'll have to DVR the game but I hope we explode tonight.....maybe a 9-1 thrashing. |

Nothing wrong with Jiggs, I'm just sayin. Jiggs is the shit. I loved when him and Eddie Westfall did the games years ago.

Hopefully the 3 on 5 PK will give us some momentum heading into the 3rd. We are lucky to be within 1 after playing the last 5 minutes of the 3rd in our own end.
Not their best effort so far.

Uh, missed most of second and the third. What happened? Is Edmonton that good? I had enough about midway through the 3rd when they were down 3-1. Not a good effort. Played the last 5 minutes of the 3rd period in their own zone -- gave up and killed off a 5 on 3. Early 3rd period, Viz turned the puck over in right in the slot, set Edmonton up for an easy goal. Add to that the goal Halak gave up in the first when he lost the puck behind the net -- tough to win on the road when you give up two bad goals. Halak kept them in it in the 2nd, especially during the 5 on 3, but it wasn't enought. Sloppy game, Edmonton was the better team last night. We deserved the loss. |

We deserved the loss.For sure - and I stayed up to watch that entire crapfest. Will probably do so again tonight as I'm a glutton for punishment. But, I'm not getting too wound up about it. Games like that happen over a season. And, even the worst teams in the league have the ability to win every game. If you don't come out with your A game, you probably will lose.
If they come back tonight and put forth a good effort, I'm perfectly content. You can't win every game.
Thinking of going to the Rock on Friday night. Anyone ever been? Not familiar with the seating - the 200s seem really high and not an option, but don't know what the story with the 100s are. Any input would be appreciated.
