Kule's shorthander was a thing of beauty, was right there as he popped it in.

They definitely fucked up a coupe of times ont eh defensive end yesterday, but the nice part about yesterday;s game is that they kept attacking and each time they gave one to the Flyers they went out and got one back. That game gives us a 5 point cushion on Pitt and 7 on the Rangers -- we will be in first at the Break. |

Rick DiPietro was on set yesterday, too. I went to take a leak and walked by the set as they were chatting away, and yelled out "Ricky D!" he looked and laughed.

I went to the game as well. I got a picture of my oldest Ricky after the first period and he signed his hat. My son asked me if he should have Ricky sign his jersey, but I wasn't ready for that kind of commitment. My son wanted to get a picture with Mike Bossy but I didn't see him around.
And you're right about Shannon - she looks good in person and has a legit set on her.
The goals we gave up were pretty sloppy. I think it was the second goal where the puck was sitting in front of the net and CdH tries to clear it through his legs and ends up on a Flyers stick and he buries it. I can't say for sure if that was his intent or if it just bounced off his stick through his legs, but it looked like that's what he tried to do. And when this team gets stupid fancy, they get in trouble. Most of those goals could have been avoided. But, whatever - you can't play a perfect game.
And that 4th line performance in the 3rd was just great. Flyers were getting a little aggressive with the body and they just came out and demolished everything that moved.

Yeah, I thought of that but a friend of my wife's got her firm's sky box tickets at the last minute so I was sort of beholden to them. Having 4 kids from 2 to 7 running around wasn't conducive to escaping. Next time for sure. |

Just bought tickets for Feb 14 vs Columbus to bring the family out for one last pilgrimage to the old barn. Sec 340, not terrible, not too expensive.
