Great game, I thought the D was particularly good tonight. Sweet damn goal by JT. And that dickbag Krieger looks like he's tryong to make a career out of running goalies. Yup. Great win. Only downer was the late goal allowed by Halak. He was great tonight -- especially in the 2nd. He deserved the shutout.

Otherwise a great win and a well deserved 2 pts. because of Halak.

Did your son happen to watch the game with you -- if so, did he notice what happened on Strome's goal, went in off McDonough's stick. It happens to everyone who plays defense at some time.

LOL, no, only watched the first and half of the second. Missed that goal, but I'll tell him about it tomorrow. He also said coach was telling them some things on the bench that he didn't understand. So the goal this week is to learn the triangle... And never pass back across your own net when in D...

I'm a little late to the party as I can't access the new site from work but that was a damn good win. The Rags definitely controlled the 2nd period more but we really didn't give up too many legit scoring chances. And the ones they did were gobbled up by Halak.
Still CJ needs to get some playing time. Halak can't play 65games this year. Think he starts against the Bs tomorrow?

It would make sense to give him the start -- especially with Halak not being off during the break. Maybe CJ would be motivated going against his former team and come up with a big performance.

CJ came up big the first time they played the B's.

Would definitely be a good game to start CJ. B's playing some good hockey of late, and the Isles could very well have a Rangers hangover. Almost a throw CJ to the Wolves type deal. Hate to say it...

Definately should have started CJ last night. Halak needs a rest.

Definately should have started CJ last night. Halak needs a rest. Halak need to either learn how to handle the puck behind his net or stop trying. Whenever he allows a soft goal, it is after he tries to play the puck, like he did on that goal with 4 seconds left in the 2nd. That goal turned the game and completely changed the 3rd period.

Not sure who's in net today.
Isles have a lot of games in February, 15 I think. 4 back-to-back series. CJ should get at least 4 in Feb, I'd guess.
