Just planned my last trip to the old barn. Flying in to NY in about two weeks and headed to the Isles-Canadiens game on Saturday 3/14. It will be my second trip to the Coliseum in probably 25 years -- after being a season ticket holder back in the 80s. Had to get back there one last time. Although I may make it one more time in the spring if they have a decent playoff run in them.

Reportedly for a conditional 3rd. Don't know if this is just a depth move, or if it means Zeeker may be out for a while.

Where are we getting all of these third round picks to trade away? I know at least one was used on Boychuck. Either way it's nice to CJ gone and a more than capable BU in return.

Didn't we get a 3rd from Philly for MacDonald last year. Also heard the pick for Tyler Kennedy is a 7th rounder that only becomes a 3rd if we win the Cup. Nice day for Garth -- love the addition on Neuwirth and adding Kennedy means we don't need to rely on Moullerat if Zeeker and Grabo are out for a while. |

Didn't we get a 3rd from Philly for MacDonald last year I'm not positive but I believe it was a second. Edit: It was 2014 3rd rounder which is gone and a 2015 2nd. |

Lucky to get the point last night -- big break on Lee's goal in the last second.
But, I am really getting tired of seeing these guys play with the puck and try to stickhandle by two or three defenders -- there are times you just need to send the puck in deep and get on the forecheck. Strome got in trouble near the blue line and instead of getting the puck deep, turned it over and sent the Stars in on a 3 on 1 for the game winner.

every point is huge now, it's march And we were so damn close to stealing two points -- can't get the image out of my head of Hickey's shot clanging off the post just before the Stars won it. Still good to come away with a point in a game where you are losing in the final seconds. |
