Too bad that zeeker goal didn't count at the end of the 2nd. Virtually hundredths of a second. Seriously - that was as close as it gets. I thought for sure it was going to be good but I didn't realize it hit off his glove.
Looks like Reinhart is getting called up, which probably means that Hamonic is out tomorrow. Hopefully its just a bruise and not a dislocated shoulder or something else serious. He got walloped pretty good by Neil. Its a shame no one on this team will do anything about it though. Martin is afraid of Neil.

Bailey got off to a quick start, but its been the same crap as last year since he came back after the injury. He has definitely earned healthy scratch status. Fucking Conacher back in the limeup? Ugh. Maybe / maybe not. Clutterbuck was dinged up in yesterday's game and may just be getting a day off for practice today. No word from Isles that I have seen on his status for tomorrow - or Hammer's status either for that matter. |

It is shocking that we depth to deal with these injuries and non-performance issues. The last time I felt this confident about the Islanders I was a teenager. What a ride so far. Keep it going!
