Agree with everything Brooklyn Jet just said. I'm bummed today but will get over it. The future is definitely bright for the team. I'm not as disappointed about the team being in Brooklyn per se. But I again today went on the Barclays site to look at the virtual viewer, and I simply don't understand how this is suppose to work. The arena is built for basketball. Even the non-obstructed site lines will be obstructed the second someone stands up rows in front of you. one third of the arena will not be able to see the near face off circle. It's just not a long term solution. At all. MAybe that means they eventually move back. MAybe they leave the NY area entirely. The lack of certainty is unsettling. Anyone see hockey there in the preseason? Is it as much of a disaster as the virtual viewer demonstrates? nyislanders.io-media.com/

Things can change quickly next season. If they get off to a slow start in Brooklyn, all bets are off.

Red Wings will allow Babcock to talk to other teams.
Would be an upgrade from Cappy.

No Babcock.
But in the promo for the movie Entourage, one dude is wearing an Isles t-shirt.

Painful to see -- the Stanley Cup banners coming down. I'm surprised they didn't disintegrate when touched by human hands for the first time in 35 years.
