I think we're at Kyle's ceiling, but I'd prefer to deal Bailey even though he wouldn't bring back as much. |

I like KO, like you guys, it would depend on what came back, and what his salary demands are. Did I really hear he wants a long term deal with an avg cap figure of 7 million a year? That seems like a lot for him.
I might go as high as 6m / yr over 6 years which i think is fair for his production and which puts him on par with Boychuks deal, but you have JTs new deal looming in a few years and a few RFAs and UFAs to pay as well, so I think its smart to shop around and see whats out there.
The rumor I saw today... I'll pass unless theres some bigger master plan afoot:

Two Centermen and a pick? No thanks. We should be focused on need at this point, imo. I'm good with our Centers.
How about KO straight up for Zach Bogosian?

First Saturday night of the season and we are in Chicago. Tickets are going to cost me a fortune. At least I will not have to sit there and watch the champs raise their Cup banner like the Rangers will a couple of days earlier. |

Isles trade Griffin Rienhart to Edmonton for the 16th pick, and select Mathew Barzal, C. Also got 33rd overall pick.

Griffin probably wasn't going to pay much, so he gets a shot at a roster spot, and the isles get a high rated player at 16. Good to have another C in the wings. |
