Fuck am I pissed.
Sat in the rainand 39 degree temps to watch one shitty UConn football team lose to a winless shittier team.
Then return home to watch the DVR'd Isles. Blow a fucking 3 goal lead. AND I CANT STAND SHITTY PENALTY KILLING. Nothing pisses me off than that in hockey.
Meh, it'do be one thing to lose a game, but to blow a 3 goal lead. And blow a lead in the third... Unacceptable.

^ To be fair, the St. Louis Blues aren't exactly the BuffaLOL Sabres.
They're a pretty damn good team they faced.
I think the unexpected Goaltender switch from Hitchcock(putting Marty in and taking Allen out) changed the momentum of the game.
Yeah they were able to regain the lead but most of the momentum was still on the Blues side and in the 3rd, it was ALL ST. LOUIS.
Victory #689 for Marty....first as a Blue(not a Devil) which is weird for me.

That was a bad loss - no two ways about it. We can say we had it coming or that we are still where we are but that doesn't change the fact that you need to win games that you are up 3-0. Even with Dmen 7-9 playing.
If they shake it off and have a decent showing in the next stretch again really tough competition, its no big deal. But I can't help but have the feeling that that game was a precursor of things to come. I hope I'm wrong.
I don't like Minny on account of Nino (which admittedly is a pretty thin reason to not like a team) so if they are going to split this week, I hope they win tomorrow.

Just saw that Halak is a late scratch tonight with an upper body injury. Johnson to get the start. Typical Isles luck -- finally looking like we may have turned a corner this year and now we are without three of our top D-men and our #1 goalie. Hopefully it is just a day-to-day issue with Halak.
