Surprised it had to,go,to SO. Cappy always play 2 D in OT? Yup. as far as I know we are the only team in the league to play 2 D regularly in OT. Had the CBJ feed last night and their announcers seemed surprised that we went 2 D. |

How is it that JT is so friggin bad at taking penalty shots? He needs to stop with the ultra slow approach. It NEVER works.

This team is so much better with a healthy Boychuk. 3rd straight strong effort and 3rd straight win. Nice to see them playing well again -- just have to keep it going, especially against the East.

A good game last night. A little lull in the second allowing LA to get back in it for a couple minutes, but got the 3 goal lead back.
Boychuk (Jesus, auto-correct wanted to put boy junk) is obviously an important cog on this team. Hopefully they can get on a bit of a roll going in to the playoffs, God willing.

Dunno, I might have left halak in for the third and give Greiss the start on Monday. Now it'll be halak on Monday.
Also good to see Cappy had the team ready to play tonight.

I wouldn't be too sure about that. I'd put my money on Greiss Monday. And if he plays well, Greiss again... I think patience is running thin with Halak. This team is an enigma otherwise. I don't understand how they can be so flat sometimes. |

Isles need to put a whoopin on Detroit today. Only a point from out of the playoff race, and gotta keep pace with the Rangers who are pulling away from the pack.

Would guess Halak gets nod for Caps and then Greiss in vs New Jersey. Put up or shut up for Halak vs Washington. Let's see if he rises to the occasion. Then if things stay to form, Greiss, Greiss and more Greiss. |
