2 Great points but sweating out a must win home game against Columbus speaks volumes about this team. I can't picture us missing the playoffs now, but I'm still baffled how this teams keeps pulling these points out of their ass. In years past when this team was on they could dominate entire games. I'm not sure what happened to that team since it's basically the same players.
My biggest wishlist would be for them to play some solid hockey down this brutal stretch and meet the Rags in the first round.

LGI That would require the Isles to play solid hockey, and Pitt to play like shit. Doesn't look like either will happen. and to think just a few months ago, Pitt was finally dead, and out of the playoffs a month ago, and now they can't lose, about to lock up second seed and home ice for first round. FML.

And Greiss didn't look so good last night. Not sure what his deal is lately. Any other team but Columbus, and the Isles lose.

I get home and flip the game on late in the 2nd. Within a minute or two Saad softly flips the puck to the net and it gets through Greiss -- I am still not sure how he missed that one. Then the goal early in the 3rd to tie. Happy to see them escape with 2 points, but the parts of the game I saw were pretty ugly.

Anyone need 2 tickets for tomorrow's game? I have two extra in Section 105. They're technically "limited view" but they're very good seats. Towards the 106 side (which isn't obstructed) right by the face off circle (closest to Honkey). My cost is $65.

Hamonic out for the regular season - hopefully back for the playoffs.

Hamonic out for the regular season - hopefully back for the playoffs. We need him back badly. This team is not the same when either Boychuk, Leddy or Hammer is out. Big loss.

At a rink, but will still miss the game. Ug.

After watching when he got injured it looked so minor in nature. It sucks we'll miss him for the final stretch but we need him for the playoffs in the worst way.

Bruins and Wings won tonight. Doesn't help the Isles any.

Well, that was an ugly 40 minutes. I gave up and turned it off after the 2nd, but it doesn't sound like it got any better in the last 20. At least we were hospitable hosts today. Gave Sundquist his First NHL goal -- a shorty. Which was even more of a gift because of the feed from Berube to set him up. Gave Matt Murray his first NHL shutout.

Didn't see the game, saw the score at the end of 2. Even the box score said it was a sad effort today. not fer nuthin, but the isles only wins in the last 10 games or so have been against Carolina and Columbus. I think we know where this team stands for the last few games. Maybe 1 more W.
