How bout the Caps being down 3-1? Didn't see that coming. A hypothetical - if the rags shitcanned coach AV, would you take him over Cappy? I am not all that surprised. Pitt had been playing great down the stretch, and Washington has a history of coming up small in the playoffs. Best thing to happen to Pittsburgh could have been the injury to Fleury. Don't think he would have matched what Murray has done so far. I could have seen Washington losing to Pitt, but potentially 4-1? Nope, didn't see that. And color me surprised Murray is playing that well. I would have bet the bloom would have come off that rose 5 games ago.

OK, get it done tonight. After this week, I need a few hours in front of the TV with cold beer, and actually enjoy what I'm watching.
Please hockey Gods, let the Isles lead early and lead by a lot for the entire game.

Well that's that. No way they win 3 in a row.
Maybe 1 more, but not 3.

Great first period, then cooled off, again, for the next 2.

Best they have played in their own end all playoffs. And they can't get it done. DeHaan's broken stick may have cost us that game, those things always seem to hurt us.

So, now would be a great time to start a 3 game winning streak...
On the bright side, all the pressure is squarely on the shoulders of TB.

Not confident they'll score 2 in the next 40, or three overall.

Anybody seen John fuckng Tavares? MIA. Lost. Reward if found. Not to make excuses but they still can't get consistent wingers for him after how many years. How many other teams are shuffling their first line as often as Cappy does? He can't even keep them together for more than one shift.

He can't even keep them together for more than one shift. All good points. but 0 points in 4 straight games? Here is a list off the top of my head of wingers that played regular shifts on the first line.....this year!! Bailey, Strome, Lee, Neilsen, Okposo, Grabo, Kulemin, Nelson, Prince, Quine, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some. What other successful team in the NHL does that? He came up big in the Florida series when were outplayed every single game, so I'll give him a pass. I just hope Cappy and yes, even Snow get the fucking axe and they bring in a legit winger for him that can play the entire season together. The only guy listed above that I would like too see consistent ice time on the first line is Lee because I feel he compliments JT's skillset perfectly.
