Shooting was at a mall.
More shootings at a train station.
"Workplace violence" - Obama.

I love it that as this news breaks, Obungler says this in response to Trump's speech:
"We're not going to make good decisions based on fears that don't have a basis in fact," the President said. "And that, I think, is something that I hope all Americans pay attention to."
He has head so far up his ass, those big ears are tickling his kidneys.

Funny thing is all the so-called "fact checkers" I've seen today have rated his speech last night as true. I knew the speech was good when I turned on CNN and MSNBC afterwards and they were having a meltdown. The louder the leftists whine and the more dramatic they get is a good indicator for that. Obama wants January to come faster than we do. This is a major issue facing Europe. They have many popular social programs that are very expensive and there is little or no money leftover for defense and intelligence. Combine that with the strict privacy laws, open borders and you have what you have now.

So I just looked up how many troops we have in Germany. I got 48,000 at a cost of 8 billion dollars a year. I doubt that includes veterans healthcare. Europeans need to start picking up the tab for that or we need to revisit our military commitments.

Nobody seemed to talk about these things before Trump. Why the hell do we need 48000 troops in Germany? 52000 in Japan. 25000 in Korea. WWII is over. I could see having a few thousand here and there to help out our allies but this is crazy.

Most countries have troops stationed overseas for terrain training exercises, intelligence and quick strike capabilities. Our armed forces are currently deployed in more than 80 countries across the world. It's essential for all of us to have a presence overseas.

We aren't there to help allies. Are you suggesting our sailors still have yellow fever? I'm suggesting if you want to stay a world power, you have to be out, in the world. Beside which, Ramstein Air Force Base comes in quite handy.

We aren't there out of altruism cuz we love Albania. According to that chart that DDNY posted, Germany alone is shorting it's NATO contributions by at least 50 billion dollars a year. Europe has the population and the economies to field a military to defend themselves. They need to take care of themselves and we need to get out.

You understand why NATO exists right?
