And you would be wrong. Just as people who declare the GOP dead. Parties evolve. Precisely my point... it's going to evolve to a Marxist leftist party with Clinton gone... and hence, will be worthless as a viable alternative party. So then Marx is right we are on our way to Communism.

Thats my point, someone ALWAYS arises. Someone who looks like "change" whether they are or not. Business man, community organizer...most likely someone not even on your radar. Just because we cant identify WHO it is doesn't even matter. The penduluum always swings. Lets be honest. Its going to be one of those two. You guys need to spike the minority turnout. The women/millenial thing didnt work. But you have proven than you can win big with minority identity politics. The primary will be a pillow fight as to not hurt the winner too bad. I dont think you can say that just yet. Alot depends on what Trump succeeds at and fails at.

Alot depends on what Trump succeeds at and fails at. Trump is going to get immigration, infrastructure, tax and health care reform. They have majorities and there is Democratic support for those things. The devil will be in the details. Im sure if he "negotiates" like he says he will and gives in on one thing the media spin it as him not delivering. All in the eye of the beholder. From a statistical standpoint it will be very hard for him not to improve the economic numbers. So people will have to set the success threshold at whatever they think that is.

Didn't run a great campaign. Then he shouldnt have won. Trumps election was a reflection on Obama and Clinton not the knowledge and skill of Trump.

They have majorities and there is liberal pusscakeic support for those things. The devil will be in the details. From a statistical standpoint it will be very hard for him not to improve the economic numbers. So people will have to set the success threshold at whatever they think that is. True. And as I always drone on about, he needs to stay away from social issues. Those are the emotional issues that take away from the real ones. He actually has a great opportunity in front of him if he can stay focused (stay off Twitter for Gods's sake you're the president of the US) and I hope he succeeds. DC is a bad place though. Things get sticky. Anyhoo...the Dow is up. Woo hoo! I can see retirement from my window. Good luck everyone.

He is a stickler on immigration and that is where his biggest fights will be. The border and refugees from "compromised" parts of the world. The rapists and terrorists, if you will. I think he will be good for the stock market. Any growth will be real growth rather than the trillions we have pumped in that dont seem to trickle down to main street. Investors like friendly corporate environments and if he somehow manages to bring the trillions we have offshore back in it will be his biggest achievement that nobody will talk about.

Dude - I'm a student of history, Never said the party was dead Look at the thread title? When I say demographics I'm not referring to color. I'm referring to the leanings of the 20-30 crowd. If Trump plays it smart he will lay off the social issues and do something good on healthcare. If he gets are great peopleed into the social issues all he does is energize them. I've never seen the GOP be able to avoid the social issues though. As I've said in another thread Gen Z - those in HS right now - are very conservative. They are simply rebelling against the chains of PC imposed domination. PC is dead dude. DEAD. 20-30 crowd will be 30-40 crowd in about 5 minutes so your argument makes no sense. Whatever you need to sleep at night though.

We have the presidency, the senate, the house and probably the Supreme Court for the next 50 years. Chew on that fat boy. As for the future or the dem party - your new young leaders are an 80 year old gray haired commie and an old screeching four eyed hag who lied about being an Indian (yep, I said Indian cause PC is dead too motherfucker!). Ok ok, I know saying MF was a little overboard and sounds too harsh, but I added it for effect. ) Sorry, my overweight American brother. I'm still happy we shocked the world. Very short sighted. Its a pendulum. Learn from your history. And look at some demographics. your inability to look past the superficial is amazing. Fauxcahontas was interveiwed yesterday and she thinks the DNC didn't pay enough attention to income inequality and climate change, cuz yeah - that's was people underemployed or unemployed worry about.

Bill Maher even said that working class white guys are having a hard time economically and are sick of being lectured by a bunch of feminist dykes about white privledge and mansplaining and PC fucking nonsense. PC is dead my bothers. And I fucking strangled it to fucking death.

trump is hillary's and the media's frankenstein monster. it came out in podesta's emails that their strategy (hillary in collusion with the mainstream media) was for the media to give the most exposure to the most "extreme right" candidates during the gop primaries. the three "pied piper" candidates as they called it were cruz, carson and trump. the goal was to have those three pull the rest of the field to the right in their stated positions, so hillary could appear as the moderate choice once one of them won the nomination. of course they wanted to run against trump more than any other, which is why the media gave him virtually nonstop coverage. but the plan backfired. the monster got out of the lab, and fucking killed hillary.
you can look it up
