Its time to bring up Rosario and put him at SS, and shift Cabrera to third, which should be less demanding on his body. And move Reyes to the bench.
Sandy was part of the process of implementing a 10-day DL, yet they consistently play short handed by not using the DL.

Got home from work a little late yesterday, flipped on the game and we were already down 5-0 in the first with Tehran going against us, no way that was going to end well. I just don't know what to think anymore. Watching this team, this is a bad baseball team. We can't field, we don't hit consistently, we never take extra bases and put pressure on the defense, the bullpen is a mess, and the back end of the rotation sucks. We were 7-3 a couple of weeks ago and now, 8-11. This looks like a 90+ loss team. If we don't get great starting pitching and hit home runs, we can't win. I know it is still early, and all they need is one good winning streak to turn it around, but we are already 6 1/2 games behind the Nats, and we are not even through April. And this team is showing no signs of life. |

How many years of pitcher/management disagreements, flabbergasting injury management, short benched team, and players not even knowing when they're playing before something changes here?
Sandy has found talent for sure during his run here, but the Mets have also been hands down the strangest run organization in MLB as well during that time as well.
I simply don't know what to think anymore.

Between the Jets and this is just unfair at best I am a fan of 4 pro sports teams - Jets, Mets, Knicks, and Rangers. In my lifetime they have collectively won 5 Championships. With the Mets being the most successful with 2, and the Ranger winning the most recent -- 23 years ago. What the Fuck did I do to deserve this? |
