I agree with his list and your objection but I wouldn't replace him with Watt. Too many knee injuries for my liking and it will ultimately push him down.......or at least it should. My replacement for Peppers would be ? Tough year for predictions because this draft is deep but lacks the premier positions at the top. The knee injuries are worrisome, but he plays a premium position. He also showed great promise as an OLB despite being new to the position. This year he put on weight, filled out, and put up great numbers. His combine numbers also suggest that he's just scratching the surface. If healthy he's probably a top 15 talent in this draft that gets you 10+ sacks a year. The others would be higher on my list, but I wouldn't hate him in the 12-15 ranges. I'd love him in the 20+ range.

He wouldn't be on my list as a possible first rounder at any level.

Sometimes you got to risk it to get the biscuit. Unlike Milliner he has legit upside. Most first rounders are avg to below avg players. If healthy I think he'll be a beast. Also taking him at 12-20 means we got a bunch of picks. That makes me feel more comfortable taking him, because after after the top 4 nobody in the top 50 would surprise me if they went in the 1st. If the Jets do their job for once we should get a bunch of great players.

Unlike Milliner he has legit upside. Milliner never missed a game in college and had elite measurables. Watt also has elite measurables but he's already missed two seasons because of injury. It's the classic case of love the player and hate the red flags. I know he was mentioned earlier but I'd rather draft Reddick in that spot. He's can't miss.

So what are you really wanting to see Robbie Rob... what's going to win you over in 24 hours from now? What pick is going to make you fall out of your seat?

ILB shouldn't go top 10 unless they can blitz. Him being misplayed at DE and his limited OLB tape and combine numbers tells me he'll get sacks. He also shows great ability in coverage. The kid will be a stud once he puts it together. He can play in any defense and any down. Also I never liked Milliner. He had elite tools, but like Wilson he never turned his head around. Again in a draft that's a crap shoot I wouldn't mind taking a shot in the mid 1st if we picked up a bunch of other picks.

For the first time in over thirty years I don't know. I'll bang the drum for offense but I'd be cool with Adams. I hope we trade down and draft some building blocks for our new QB in 2018.

I know this isn't directed at me but the only pick at #6 that would make me fall out of my seat is Garrett. That would mean every team lost their mind. I feel like #6 sucks because we can get a player at 10-15 that is just as good. I want us to trade back soooooo bad so we can get a few solid players. Trading back would make me fall out of my seat because it's smart. However, I don't trust us to make the right picks.

Honestly Fournette would make me fall out of my seat if we picked at 6... not because I love him, but because it would be such a non-Jets pick. It would renew some faith that anything is possible. The last spotlight pick we made was Sanchez

I really like Peppers. He's a gamer. He'd probably help the Offense too. You don't play your stud players two ways. Even if they're amazing it only happens 5-10 times a year, unless the player is so mediocre at everything. Peppers is to small to be a LB and he's doesn't have the coverage skills to be a S. He's a so so RB, and an ok returner. Why spend a 2nd round pick on one guy that doesn't excel at anything when I can find 4 guys in the late rounds and UDFA that can do one of those things better. If he we took him in the 3rd or later I'd get it and accept it. I didnt think his coverage skills were bad when i watched him play. Maybe i was blinded by his overall athletic ability and versatility.

I feel the same way. There are some guys I definitely do not want, but I can't figure out who my first choice would be. I want an offensive playmaker, but not rally sure which one -- just can't get excited over the two safeties. I think we will come away with Hooker, but not sure how I will feel about that. In the 10-15 range I'd take; Cook Reddick Williams Davis Howard Charles Harris Cam Robinson David Njoku

In the 10-15 range I'd take; Cook Reddick Williams Davis Howard Charles Harris Cam Robinson David Njoku I am still confused as to who I would want. Ideal world, I want to trade down, but for the same reason we want to trade down, may not be many takers to move up, especially since I think that if the Browns move up for Trubisky, they will want to get ahead of us and not wait until we are on the clock. If we have to pick at 6, I would take any of the offensive playmakers on your list. This year, I have gotten past worrying about if someone is good value at 6. If Howard/Williams/Davis or Njoku can give us 80+ catches and 1,000+ yards a season, I am not going to give a shit if we could have gotten him at 10, 12 or 15. If Cook, Mccaffrey or Fournette can give us 1,200 yards and be a threat out of the backfield, where we picked them ain't gonna matter. The one guy that would scare the shit out of me, but I would still be excited if we took him is Cook. 3 shoulder surgeries, off field issues and questionable motivation, but man that tape is great. What a great fit he would be if we run a west coast offense. He would scare the shit our of me at 6 or even in the teens, but I would be excited by the upside.
