Rudolph is a big tough guy with a big arm and accurate.
Kind of like Hack.
Except accurate.
And tough.

Rudolph was very impressive tonight. He's fiery, has command of the huddle, plays in a gimmick offense but goes through progressions fast, and a nice quick release even if it's his third read. And he's accurate. Yeah it's S Alabama but he looked good tonight.

It was a perfect pass. Sweet. Having said that everything he's throwing is underneath or to backs or screens or quick throws to the sideline. I'd like to see him air it out. _ That's Leach's offense though. It's designed to get the ball out quick to guys who can make plays with their feet. People always say that his system isn't conducive to producing NFL QBs, but if you really look at and listen to Leach it really isn't the system to blame but rather the type of QB he likes to recruit. He openly states he doesn't look for kids with big arms but rather guys who are accurate and get rid of the ball quickly. This is why his QBs don't become better NFL prospects. He isn't recruiting kids to develop into pro QBs but guys who will run his offense.

A bit of touch and he would have had a few more big gainers. _

I watched him a bunch last year and he went vertical quite often to great success. He can throw it vertically, I'd just like to see some of it. _

Anyone watching this Louisville game. Lamar making some highlight reel plays, but no consistency and missing a lot of throws. He is making a handful of brilliant plays, but not showing a lot of accuracy on a consistent basis.

I was watching some of it, he has a long way to go as a passer to be considered a legit NFL prospect.

Rosen had a good game today and Darnold had a very nice opening drive against Stanford.

Yep
Tank for Darnold all goddamn day.
What a drive to close out the 1st half. Bigtime throw after bigtime throw.

I'm just catching up on the DVR and Darnold looks amazing....missed Rosens game. Darnold has Mike Singletary eyes.

Darnold may look a bit unorthodox at times with his motion but, he gets it done and can spin it. He's still really young too, he's looking the part.

He'll have his opportunities too drive the ball this year also. Now back to darnold.
